Arc 2: Conquering Clouds

Chapter 83: First Match (Part 4)

   

      For the second round, since Team Twilight Marshmallows have already chosen their home map, it was now time for Team Conquering Clouds to choose their map.

Team Twilight Marshmallows anxiously await for the map to be chosen for the second round. Team Conquering Clouds even though they were on a home field disadvantaged manage to win a perfect 3 points from them in the individual round.

And the last player from the previous round even managed to use their map to his advantage which was unforgivable and made them look like a fucking joke.

Now with a home-field disadvantage, Team Marshmallow was afraid of what would happen in the group round. Would they manage a comeback from the conquering clouds or would their enemy continue their win streak?

In the group round, 3 players for the team would be put together just like in the individual round. The difference between the two rounds where it was 1 v 1, it may turn into 1 v 2 or 1 v 3.

If a player died from an opponent team, she/he would be replaced by the next player on his team. Then if that player was also killed, they would be replaced by their 3rd player.

Team Twilight Marshmallow watched as the map was put into a 'random'. They were flabbergasted and at the same time, they thought that team Conquering Clouds are a bunch of idiots.

Since it was now their turn to choose, they were supposed to choose maps that would put them at an advantage. Not put themselves at a disadvantage too!

Followed by indignation, there was hope and happiness for their team. Since the team conquering clouds turned themselves into a joke, team twilight marshmallows prayed to the gods of glory to bless them with a map that would give them an advantage.

[ Random choice turned into Mushroom Forest ]

No! It isn't a map that they didn't practice or encountered before! Damn it! With many maps in glory and the devs continuously adding a new map with every update, it would be hard to acquire their favored map with a random choice.

Still, they wish that they acquired a map to their advantage. Unfortunately, the probability of it being chosen by the computer ai was too low.

Glancing at the team conquering clouds, as long as they are also at a disadvantage, they would at least feel a little confident and have their morale boosted.

Then both of their teams put forward their first player for Group matches.

[ Cross Knife (Berserker)- Team Conquering Clouds ]

' It was that guy again.. '

The leader of the Twilight Marshmallow, Campfire Marshmallow thought inside his mind.

After the countdown started, like the other players on his team, they observed the match.

' Since the group match is an endurance battle, the berserker mustn't intentionally injure himself again, right? '

But it seems that Campfire Marshmallow was wrong in his thought. Once again, the berserker has put himself in 50% health.

' There is something wrong with this guy! Their captain must be crazy too if he was agreeing to this kind of crazy and suicidal strategy! '
