[DIA] (BFDI x II) A Black Hole living on Earth

Tree's P.O.V: 

Black Hole had called everyone in Death P.A.C.T. to meet at the stairs to the roof after school, I'm not sure why there or what he wants to talk about but he sounded rather serious so I shrug it off and head there as the final bell rang. As we all meet I see Black Hole leaning at the wall holding a slip of paper in his hand, he then turns to us to make his point.

Black Hole: Oh good, you all came.

Pie: What is it Black Hole?

We were pretty much the only ones around so using Black Hole's real name would probably be ok.

Black Hole: Before lunch today, I had this note on my locker telling me to meet someone out there...

He hands the note to Liy to read and as she passes it along to the rest of us Black Hole points to the exit to the courtyard.

Black Hole: But when I got outside no one was there and a heavy weight was dropped onto me!

Wait WHAT!?

Pen: Oh flip! Are you ok?

Black Hole: I'm fine, I'm really strong so I caught it before it landed on me.

Fanny: Where is that weight now?

Black Hole: Since it came from the roof I put it back up there, let me show you.

We follow Black Hole up the stairs and he wasn't lying, this weight was huge! 9,042 KG was shown in it, that's heavy enough to crush anything. I look up to see it had a rope tied to it.

Tree: Look, it seemed to have been tied to something..

Bottle: This pole has a rope on it too.

Liy: Whatever this was, it's clearly no accident. 

Remote: Who could've done this!?

Black Hole: I looked up here to find out myself, but I think they saw me coming and fled the scene.

We all stay quiet and thin for a moment before Remote makes a statement.

Remote: This was almost like the freeze juice scenario.

Pen: And maybe even the thrown fork too!

Lightning: So to clarify, someone is out to get Black Hole??

Pillow: Looks like it.

Black Hole looked to be rather concerned when this theory was made, can't really blame him, if I found out that someone was secretly trying to do harmful things to me I'd be shaken up too.

Fanny: I HATE ASSASINATIONS.

Pen: Hey now calm down, it's technically not an assassination if you can't kill your target.

Pie: But the attacker doesn't know that.

Marker: But even then who is doing this and why?

Liy: Black Hole, did you seen anyone acting strange at the time of this?

Black Hole: Well I don't know if this exactly counts as acting strange but, Test Tube did warn me about going out to 'meet' this 'person'. 

Tree: So then that would mean Test Tube knows something, I think we should pay her a little visit don't you agree?

Later Me, Remote, Lightning, Fanny and Black Hole head to Test Tube's house, Black Hole decided he'll wait outside (out of sight) and we do the asking.

*BZZT*

Test Tube: Huh? Oh, what brings you guys here?

Fanny: WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ASSASSINATION!?

Test Tube: WHAT???

Tree: Fanny NO, too soon. Sorry about that, may we come in?

Test Tube: Uuuuhh, sure come right in.

Tree: Vortex had told us about what happened at lunch, with the uh.. weight..

Test Tube: Oh jeez, he didn't say anything about me did he? Actually if you're here then he did, but look I tried to warn him, I meant no harm!

Remote: We know this, but seeing that you warned our friend means you know something about this attack. Spill the beans!

Test Tube: I... I...

Tree: Look we don't want trouble, we're just looking out for our dear... friend. This hasn't exactly been the first time someone has tried to harm him in secret.

Test Tube: Wait, there are others points of this happening? OK you got me convinced! It's Golf Ball & Tennis Ball's doing, they've been doing these extreme research missions to find out Vortex's species. But you didn't hear that from me ok?

Fanny: How do you know all this huh?

Test Tube: *sigh* As painful as it is to admit, I joined them at one point, but when I saw their plan to nearly crush him to check his strength I bailed.

Tree: You made the right choice. We'll leave you be now, farewell.

Black Hole: So what did she say?

Tree: It-

Fanny: IT'S BOSSY BOT GOLF BALL AND HER FOLLOWER TENNIS BALL THAT ARE DOING THIS!

Remote: They're trying to find out what you are. 

Black Hole: What?!? If they find me out, that's not gonna be good...

Tree: Don't worry Vortex, we're all keeping an eye out for them. And next after school meeting, we're gonna make a plan on what to do about them.

Lightning: Why don't we just tell them to stop harassing him?

Fanny: Because Golf Ball will stop at NOTHING to achieve her goal, and Tennis Ball is a push over to her demands!

Tree: True, let's just put a pin on this and discuss it further next week. In the meantime tho Vortex don't hesitate to let me or the others know if they are bothering you again ok?

Black Hole: Ok.
