[DIA] (BFDI x II) A Black Hole living on Earth

Heatwave

Normal P.O.V:

The sun shines extremely bright over the city and it doesn't seem to mean well for the citizens, just about everyone at school has been slugged over their desks exhausted by the heatwave sweeping the city that even the teachers haven't started any work yet. The only thing functional in the classroom was the radio.

Radio: Good afternoon listeners, time of day is around 10:15 AM in New Yoyle City. Temperatures are a scorching 98 degrees today is very unlikely to cool off for a while, sorry to break those bad news to you water/cold based objects out there although types with a natural heat endurance it looks to be a great day for the likes of you- *turns off*

Flower Speaker Box: Class dismissed...~  *faints*

Everyone exits the classroom, Tree opens his locker and pulls out a portable mini fan and turns it on. He soon finds Liy walking down the hall just as sweaty as everyone else.

Liy: Early dismissal? 

Tree: Early dismissal.

Liy: Are you using that?

Tree: I can share.

Liy: Aaahh...

Tree: Why don't we meet with the others and discuss this weather further?

Liy: Good call.

The two then head out to the outer back yard and find Black Hole sitting there doing his school work, he soon notices Tree and Liy and waves at them.

Black Hole: Hey guys, nice day today isn't it?

Liy: Nice? NICE? It's a million degrees out here!!! Well it's actually around 90 or so, but it feels like we're in The World's Largest Oven!!

Tree: Liy, Liy calm down. Keep in mind Black Hole is immune to various weather effects, his outer exterior is already hotter than our own sun, this is probably something he's used to.

Black Hole: Is there something wrong with the temperature?

Liy: Yeah, we're being plagued with a summer heatwave in the middle of May. This isn't even sweat at this point, it's just my plastic skin starting to melt off.

Black Hole: Ouch..

Lightning and the others soon arrive as hot as Tree and Liy.

Lightning: It's even worse if you're made of snow or ice. Snowball stayed home today as to not end up melting, and I'm sure other students that're cold like him are staying home too. Which reminds me of the great idea I have to beat this heat!

Fanny: PUT ME DOWN ALREADY! DX<

Lightning: Anger is just gonna heat you body further, just do the thing. Full blast.

Fanny turns on her blades blowing hard on everyone.

Everyone: Aaaahh..

Fanny: *grumbles* I hate heatwaves...

After a while of blowing Fanny turns her blades off leaving the others somewhat confused.

Fanny: I'm not doing this, find your own fan!

Pen: Fair enough, what now?

Pie: I don't know but we better think of something, Marker isn't doing so well.

Marker: Uuuughhhh......

Pie gestures everyone to Marker who is literally melting into a purple puddle. The team later gets to a recovery center to bring back Marker, after that a lightbulb pops over Bottle.

Bottle: I got an idea! :D

Later...

Bottle: LAST ONE TO THE WATER IS A ROTTEN EGGY!

Pen: We'll see about that!

Tree: I'll admit, Bottle's idea of going to the community pools was pretty smart. Remote, do you know where Black Hole is?

Remote: He went to pick up Cherry Jr.

Black Hole: Hey guys, sorry I was late... I had to find swim trunks the kid's size-

Cherry Jr: WEEE! *SPLASH*

Black Hole: *chuckle* Hm? What is that?

Tree: SPF, also known as sunscreen. It's something people use to keep themselves from getting their 'skin' burnt by the sun's UV rays. 

Tree and Black Hole notice Liy standing beside the pool still wearing a top over her swimsuit.

Tree: Liy, aren't gonna jump in?

Liy: Well- yeah... it's just, I don't like having my arms visible to a lot of people.

Black Hole: Hey don't worry about it, if Pen's exposed himself without a hint of shame you can do so too.

Pen: What was that!??

Liy: Hmm, alright.

She takes off her long sleeve shirt and Tree and Black Hole are surprised of the scratches all over Liy's arms. Liy rubs her arm nervously before going into the water not wanting to dwell on it.

Black Hole: I didn't know Liy had all those stripes on her.

Tree: Those aren't stripes, they're scars. It's kind of worrying.

Pie: Liy used to cut herself after Bow's death, thankfully she stopped doing it but... you can see why she doesn't like them being seen.

Black Hole: Poor girl.

Tree: Well, at least things are okay now... let's just have some fun.

Pie: Sounds like a plan.
