Normal P.O.V:

Pen organizes his locker and takes a page off a small calendar.

Pen: Phew... another day closer to summer...

As he closes the door to his locker he notices Black Hole floating down the hall and goes up to him.

Pen: Hey man, how ya feeling?

Black Hole: I'm doing alright, you?

Pen: Not too bad. So, you got the kid goin' to school eh?

Black Hole: Cherry Jr? Yeah, I enrolled him last week. How'd you know?

Pen: Well one, Inanimate Elementary is across the street. Two, I saw you fly him there this morning.

Black Hole: Oh.

*RIIIIIIIIIIIING*

Black Hole: The the last warning bell, we better get to class before we're late.

Pen: You got it my dude.

Pen: Hey can I ask you something random, out of nowhere with no motivation behind it what so ever?

Black Hole: eeehhh.... Sure why not.

Pen: Can you recall the same day you came to Earth?

Black Hole: That doesn't sound all that random to me. Let me think... hmm, If I make my calculations right and my memory, plus my learning about calendars.... I'd say August the 1st last year.

Pen: August? You've been screwing around on Earth since last summer? Wow, you've been here longer than I imagined.

Black Hole: Well I mean, yeah. What brought this topic up now?

Pen: Eh, nothing really. Just curious.

A few moments later during biology class, Eight gives a lecture on skeletons with a scale model and all.

Eight: And this, is it the Patella also known as the kneecap. Up here it the sternum, it connects to the ribs via cartilage and forms the front of the ribcage, giving protection to heart, lungs and major blood vessels from injuries. Any questions? Yes, Black Hole?

Black Hole: Do all objects have skeletons?

Eight: That's a good question. Well, not every species of living object have a full skeleton or even a skeleton at all. Not every skeletal is the same, who here would like to explain what they know about the bones in their body?

Cheesy: I have one bone in my body!

Eight: This better not lead up to a dirty joke Cheesy.

Cheesy: I call it a D-

*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*

Eight: Counselor's office.

Cheesy: (Worth it)

Cheesy leaves the classroom while MePad sighs in disappointment.

Black Hole: Roboty why did you beep so loudly? I couldn't hear what Cheesy had to say.

Roboty: - .... .. ... / ... - --- .-. -.-- / .. ... -. .----. - / .-. .- - . -.. / .- ... / .-..-. -- .- - ..- .-. . .-..-.

Eight: Yes Gaty?

Gaty: Well most of my body is made out of wood, including inside so I mostly just have the leg bones, a spine and a few ribs.

Eight: That is true Gaty, depending on the material of the object the skeleton may lack a few bones, your particular species has less ribs than average meaning you hold 9 pairs of ribs instead of 12. This sort of thing tend to be very common in objects made of hard wood, glass and especially all kinds of metal. As a metal object's body already has enough outer protection there's less bones in their system but still vary between the different kinds of metal objects.
