Preparation for a Secret Surprise

Flashback to June 2nd...

Everyone in Death P.A.C.T. except for one person meet up within Liy's apartment gathered in a circle. Pen shows up and sits himself down.

Past Liy: So Pen, did you finally get the information we need?

Past Pen: Yep, he said August 1st.

Past Liy: Somewhere during summer perfect. Alright everyone here's the plan; Remote, Marker and Lightning will hand out invitations, Pie and Fanny you two contact the best caterer you know, Pen find us a suitable place to hold this surprise event and Tree you use your wiles to keep the target distracted and then bring him over when we're ready. 

Tree: I won't disappoint you. 

Back to the present Tree's P.O.V:

Alright this is it, the day we've been preparing for since June, Black Hole still hasn't found out about it despite living with Remote for a time and until I get the signal I'm going to keep it that way. Speaking of living with Remote, I arrive there and ring the doorbell after waiting a bit Black Hole opens up apparently on the phone.

Black Hole: Ok, that's good to hear. 

???: You do know if something like this happens again-

Black Hole: I know, I know... Won't happen again this time I'm sure of it. Look I gotta go, goodbye. Hey Tree, what's up?

Tree: Who was that you were talking to?

Black Hole: Oh just the landlord, my apartment will be fully repaired by tomorrow. But if anything destructive happens again I'm garneted an eviction....

Tree: Ooh well a threat like that would be coming eventually. *awkward chuckle* Ehh is Remote home with you?

Black Hole: No she took Cherry Jr out to play something called 'Laser tag'.

That must be a new excuse she made to meet the others at the party, nice to know Cherry Jr will be there too.

Tree: Well, would you like to have a day out together, it's a beautiful day out. 

Black Hole: I was left at home with nothin to do, sure. Where to first?

Tree: How about we look through the mall.

Black Hole: Sounds like a plan.

Meanwhile Normal P.O.V:

 At a public Banquet Hall everyone else in Death P.A.C.T. sets up tables and decorations. 

Liy: I must say Pen you did an amazing job on the location, how'd you manage to rent out the place?

Pen: I used my Dad's card.

Once of the two doors creek open as someone peeks their head through.

Pin: Hello? Is this the location of the party?

Lightning: Pin! Yes, you came right on time. Uh where's the cake?

Pin: Coiny's wheeling it in, and don't worry it's allergy friendly.

Coiny then comes in as said pulling in a wagon with a big pastel box sitting in it. 

Coiny: Man this is tiring... 

Pin: Careful with it Coiny, that cake took forever to decorate. Oh yeah, Coiny and I got some presents where should we put them?

Liy: That long table over there. You two actually came a little early, but since you're here is it alright if you helped out getting everything ready?

Pin: Sure. 

Back with Black Hole and Tree, the two sat down at Yoyle Mall food court having a simple meal together. Well, Tree got something simple Black Hole just had to get something from all over... Regardless the couple happily conversed amongst themselves.

Tree: I've been really enjoying this summer with you. What would you say was your favorite thing we've done?

Black Hole: Same here. Hmm maybe the beach, although I wish I was able to swim in the water like all of you guys. I always see these underwater scenes on television and some documentaries of people diving under the ocean but.. *sign* y'know what never mind. It's a good day I shouldn't drag it down.

Tree: No no no, it's alright. You have a problem about be able to go underwater right?

Black Hole: Yeah, I've heard that the "big blue" as your people call it is a generous sight under the surface, I'd kind of want to see that for myself but It's not like that'll be possible.

Tree: Hmm... I think there's a way...

Black Hole: Hm?

Tree: Finish up your food and follow me.

Tree's P.O.V: 

After lunch I've decided to bring Black Hole to the Aquarium so he can experience the underwater beauty. We signed ourselves in and make way to the tunnel section, once there Black Hole begun to look around fascinated.

Black Hole: Wooah... This is so beautiful.

I stood and smiled as he looked through each tank with his hands against the glass like a child in a toy store. 

Black Hole: Oh! Look at this creature Tree, it looks just like a star!

We then looked at a few squids, Black Hole leans in close causing them to spew their ink and scatter. 

Black Hole: Woah! What was that about?

Tree: You scared them a bit. Squids and other cephalopods spew in from their bodies as to make a brief diversion and swim away.

Black Hole: Wow, these creatures have ink inside their bodies. Hm, would that make Pen and Marker squids? 

Tree: SMRIK-! Hahaha! You're gonna have to ask them that question yourself sweetie. Hahaha..
