[DIA] (BFDI x II) A Black Hole living on Earth

Tree's P.O.V: 

I sit by the large window and look over the currently dark New Yoyle City when I see what looks to be and is Liy walk up to me.

Tree: What is it?

Liy: I think we should try and fix Fanny... 

She points my flashlight to Fanny who was pacing around with her face being dragged across the floor, she then makes an abrupt stop, kneels down and attempts to hold her neck wire with her tail surprisingly in a gentle manner. I remember hearing her gag a little when Liy stepped on her wire.

Liy: She appears rather vulnerable in that state, especially to the likes of choking herself.

Tree: You're right, but how exactly do we fix a living an anthropomorphic desk fan? I doubt any hospitals would be able to take calls and all that.

Liy: True, I tried the call the closest hospital to our location but there was no response. So we'll have to do this ourselves. But I might have an idea-

Suddenly the penthouse lights up again, about time you guys.

Liy: Well that was conveniently timed. Anyway, I heard that Robot Flower managed to indirectly repair Fanny last time she broke like this by uhh sling-shotting her.

Tree: That doesn't sound safe for Fanny... especially with that thin looking wire.

Liy: Yeah, she recently told me that she would die if it were to snap but I can't think of any safer alternative ways to fix her.

Black Hole: We're back.

Tree: Thank goodness.

Pen: And we learned some cool things about Black Hole, mainly about his vision.

Black Hole: Yeah, oh but before that, Lightning could you raise Fanny up and bring her to me to y'know..

Lightning nods and picks up Fanny much to her annoyance.

Fanny: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? PUT ME DOWN!!

Lightning: haha, you are surprisingly light Fanny, but then again you are rather small. Here she is Black Hole.

Black Hole: Mkay, turn her around. Fanny hold still I need your tail for this to work, got it!

As soon as Black Hole grabbed Fanny's frenzied tail he immediately yanks it so hard it seems to be getting longer. 

Fanny:  WHAT ARE YOU DOIN-OWOWOWOWOWOW!

Once he stopped he releases her tail and it retracts back to it usual length. Fanny then breaks from Lightning's grip and turns to scold him but stops realizing her head was reattached. She shakes her head a bunch of times until nearly getting a little dizzy.

Fanny: WHAT THE HECK... was... that.. for? 

Black Hole: You're welcome.

Fanny: What did you just do?

Black Hole: Just what Teardrop instructed, here.

Black Hole hands her a note with specific steps of this random procedure from TD.

Fanny: Huh. I guess.. I should thank you whenever I can...

Black Hole: Yeah you probably should anyway where were we at?

Pie: We were about to discuss this thing about your vision.

Black Hole: Oh yeah, Originally I mainly saw things fully black but items and living things had a while outline to them, and that was it for just about since I was born.

Liy takes notes of everything Black Hole had said and then asks him something.

Liy: Hold on "originally"? Are you seeing thing differently now?

Black Hole nods, this is interesting.

Black Hole: I haven't thought about this until now but, it seems my prolonged time on this planet is making my non-existent eyes adapt to all the suddenly abundant levels of light and color around me. I still see most thing in black and outlined right now but your colors have been slowly fading into vision. You don't have to include that into the project though.

Remote: So even black holes can adapt to new environments!

Tree: That is fascinating, but is there some sort of chance you'll lose your night vision with the probable evolution you're going through?

Black Hole: I doubt it, when the power went out everything reverted back to black with outlines until lights came back. I guess I only loose my new ability to see color when it's super dark.

Lightning: That's good to know, that 'see in the dark' power would come in handy and I'd hate for it to just permanently go away.

We all sit back around the coffee table and continue working on our science project.

(Author's NOTE: After I published the previous chapter lights at my house start flickering implying that my family could have our own black out soon, that's really concerning! XD)
