The first thing I see is the sky. I whimper as I felt excruciating pain all over my body. I notice something from the corner of my eye sticking out. I look down at my shoulder and notice a huge piece of glass sticking out of my shoulder. I try my best to lift my arm, but I felt an excruciating shooting pain course through my body, causing me to let out a blood curdling scream. I hear whimpering not that far away from me, so I turn my head to the best of my ability, and my heart broke when I see Lexie... crushed under the plane.

Savannah: L-Lex–xie.

I watch Lexie's lips moving, but my ears started ringing so I could barely hear her.

Savannah: I-I can't hear you.

Every breath I took, my chest started to burn even more. I see Meredith, Cristina and Mark come out of the woods and Mark squats down to my level.

Mark's POV:

I squat down to Savannah's level and the first thing I notice was the flames engulfing her arm and chest. I rip off a big piece of my scrubs and trying putting the flames out.

Savannah: M-Mark. It h-hurts.

Mark: I know, kid. I've got you.

I notice a big piece of glass stuck in her shoulder, and I look down at her leg and see another piece lodged in her thigh.

Mark: you're gonna be okay, sis. I've got you. It's okay, Star.

Jackson's POV:

I'm in the lounge getting ready for work, but I couldn't stop staring at my phone. I've been trying to get a hold of Savannah since she left, but I haven't gotten a call back.

Alex: she'll call, Avery. She's probably busy.

Then, April walks in.

April: could someone please mercy kill me so I don't have to go to this thing?

Alex: you do me and I do you.

Jackson: better leave me a bullet. Hell if I'm going alone. Hell, I'm forcing Natalie to go with me.

Alex: Yang, Grey and your girlfriend skipped town at the perfect time.

April: oh, no, they will be back in time for the dinner. Because I had to pick up their stupid dry cleaning and dig through their stupid closets for their stupid heels, all the whole babysitting Mer's stupid kid.

Alex and I look at her confused.

April: she's not stupid. She's actually adorable.

Alex: hey, you decide on Tulane yet?

Jackson: no, I'm still weighing my options. A lot of factors involved.

April: what did Savannah say?

Jackson: she still wants me to decide on my own.

I get a text from Natalie.

Kiddo ❤️: did mom call you last night? I haven't heard from her since she left.

Me: no, I haven't.

Kiddo ❤️: I probably shouldn't be worried, but she always calls me. I shouldn't be worried, right?

Me: she's fine, Nat. She's just busy.

Kiddo ❤️: right. Thanks, J ❤️

My POV:

My hearing started coming back, and I look over at Meredith, Cristina and Mark who were checking on Lexie.
