Jackson's POV:

Everyone was startled by a huge explosion.

Maggie: okay, so, either this is a drill or it's a real fire. And if it's a real fire, then it probably has something to do with the guy, so I vote drill.

Jeremy: despite that large boom you just heard? Really?

Maggie: alright, fine. It's the guy. The bad, escaped-rapist guy. Why? Why?!

I walk over to the door and swipe my ID and it unlocks.

Jackson: the door's unlocked.

Maggie: well, yeah, fire would override a lockdown.

Jackson: I have to go find Savannah.

Jeremy: be careful, bro. And... find her.

I run off and start looking for my wife.

My POV:

A machine fell on Erin, and I'm trying to get it off her.

Erin: Stephanie? Help!

Edwards: Erin? Savannah? Where are you?

Savannah: Stephanie! We're over here. Can you walk?

Erin: don't do that! I thought you were dead!

Savannah: I told you she wasn't, honey. Edwards, can you get over here?

Jackson's POV:

My heart was pounding out of my chest as I search for my wife.

Jackson: Savannah?! Savannah! Edwards! Savannah! Savannah! Baby!

I continue running around until I find Webber with Minnick.

Jackson: hey, you seem Edwards or Savannah anywhere?

Then, Mer comes around.

Meredith: I'm looking for a missing girl.

Webber: we don't have eyes on Edwards or Savannah yet?!

Jackson: no, I've been looking everywhere.

Meredith: Savannah's missing?!

Jackson: yes, my wife is missing! The rapist guy in the hospital– that's her patient. She's with him and Edwards somewhere. I have to go.

Minnick: did you alert the police about Edwards and your wife?

Jackson: no, no, good idea. Can you do that? Thank you.

I run off and continue searching for my wife.

My POV:

Savannah: just hang on. Stephanie is going to find a way over to us. Stephanie, is he gone?

Edwards: uh, yeah, yeah. He's very, very gone. You keep your face low or tucked into Savannah, okay? Stay as far away from the fire as you can.

Savannah: she can't! The x-ray machine fell on her leg and impaled her. I can't get it off her on my own. Please get over here safely, Steph.

Edwards: I'm coming. Don't panic.

Savannah: we're gonna be okay, honey. Look at me.

Erin looks up at me with tears in her eyes.

Savannah: we're gonna get through this, sweetie. We will, I promise. We're going to get out of here, and we're gonna get you back to your mom and dad. I won't rest until we get you back to them.

I look up and I see Stephanie make her way through the fire to get to us.

Savannah: okay. Help me out.
