I wake up to Jackson kissing the back of my neck.

Savannah: come on, baby. Let's get up.

Jackson: nooo. Let's ditch work today.

I giggle as Jackson continues to kiss my neck.

Savannah: as fun as that sounds, we have patients to care for. Come on, I'll get Cathy while you shower.

Jackson: you're not joining me?

I smirk at Jackson as I get up.

Savannah: nope. My baby is more important than you.

Jackson: ouch, babe.

I giggle as I run to Cathy's room.

Savannah: good morning, princess. Come to mama.

I get a text as I pick up Cathy. I grab my phone and read a text from Jeremy.

Jer Bear 🧸💙: getting tests done with Robbins today. Getting the results tomorrow. I need a hug 😔

Me: Jackson and I will be at the hospital soon. Thinking of you always, Jer ❤️

Savannah: Jer and April are getting tests done with Robbins.

Jackson: to see if the O.I is type II or III?

Savannah: yeah. Come on, we need to get to work.

I'm at the hospital walking around with Jackson, and we see Jeremy sitting alone.

Savannah: hey, bud.

Jeremy looks at me as I sit next to him.

Jeremy: we're getting the results tomorrow.

I place my hand on his shoulder.

Savannah: have you and April talked about your options?

Jeremy: if our baby is type II, I... I want to terminate. But April... wants to keep him either way.

Jeremy placed his head on my shoulder and I wrap my arm around him.

Savannah: I wish I could tell you that everything is going to be okay. I wish I could tell you that it will get better. But that would make me a bad friend. All I can say is... I'm here for you. We're here for you.

Jackson placed his hand on Jeremy's shoulder.

Jackson: we love you, bro.

Jeremy: you guys are the one thing keeping me sane.

Savannah: we're here for you. Whatever you need, bro.

Jeremy wraps his arms around my waist and buries his face into my chest, and I hold my friend close.

I'm standing in the imaging room watching Amy's presentation about Dr. Nicole Herman's tumor. She's making a plan to resect the whole tumor.

Amy: and then– and this sounds crazy, I know, so don't even– I'll– I'll build in a distribution of a radioactive seed during surgery, keeping Dr. Herman's tumor bed free of recurring cells.

Edwards: I thought you were gonna use a laser.

Amy: I am. I already did. We're way past that.

Webber: try and keep up. I'm sorry, Shepherd, but this is a great opportunity for them to learn.

Amy: I know. It's fine. The laser is for ablating cells off the optic nerve—

Jo: it's a massive butterfly glioma.
