Randhir turned off the engine once they reached home and sat in the car in sheer silence.
"Unlock the door, I wanna go..."
Finally she spoke as the silence was getting more and more anguished..
"I won't unlock the door, until you answer my questions.."
He said calmly, but his voice was strained...
"Why on earth you think I'll answer you... "
She spat back and seethed....
"Because I am your legally wedded husband, so that gives me all the rights on you..."
He said grappling the steering wheel in his death grip...
"Oh! So in that case what rights do I have on you Mr. Husband...."
She clenched her jaw and challenged him with a stern look.
"You have every right on me, you're my wife... Where you're going with this Sanyukta..."
He asked her getting annoyed with her awry questions...
"Okay! Let's come to the point, So can I have extra martial affair.."
She smirked, knowing she hit the right spot.
"SANYUKTA.."
He nabbed her nape and yanked her dangerously close, his eyes blazing again with fury...
"Don't shout you cheater..."
She pushed him.....
"You can never change Randhir, you're the same womanizer. I just asked about having an affair with another man and you behaved like an wild animal, so what about you ha? I know everything about your this so called business Trip, i know there back in new york you were having a gala time with your bitch..."
A lump formed in her throat and tears spilled from her eyes.
"What the hell you're talking about Sanyukta..."
He stared her, a horrified and shocked expressions athwart his face.
"That american brunette am talking about Randhir, with whom you were getting cozy, had intimate dance and may be shared bed too. The tabloids are flashed with your photos with an headline 'INDIAN BUSINESS TYCOON REKINDLING HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH AMERICAN BRUNETTE'... So tell me is it all fogged?..."
She clutched his coat's lapel and yanked him close...
"You think I cheated on you?..."
He asked her blankly....
"Think? No, I don't think cause I know you cheated on me..."
Tears burned her eyes as she thought of his deceit....
Randhir unlocked the doors and came out silently without swapping any words with her..
What words could he use that would adequately express his feelings after such a display of total lack of faith in the person he wanted to spend his life with?
