Now, their faces were exposed. Becca couldn't help but gaze at them every now and then; the unmasked Knights were so..adorable! Of course, they were aware of her peeping over at them and didn't know how to feel about it. Holding Meta Knight's gloved hand in his own, he gave him a reassuring smile. In response, Meta Knight coyly smiled back. Up ahead was what looked like a base..perhaps they were in there? Braving any fears he had, Dedede lead the roster inside. Just as he had suspected, it was boiling inside. Beneath the floor was a vast body of lava, ready to roast anything. A singular throne stood tall at the back of the room, with Zan Partizanne sat upon it. When she saw them, she sped forward to greet them.
"Bonjam." Zan Partizanne greeted, through gritted teeth.
Holding her Partizan behind her back, she tried her best not to electrify it in rage. How she hated them meddlesome travelers!
"At first I thought you were mere simpletons with a knack for annoyance." She started.
"You want a fight, don't you?" Becca huffed, her hands sparking with electricity of her own.
Putting her hands up, Zan signalled for her to calm down.
"I wish you to get out of the way. If you refuse my polite offer then I'll be left no choice." She threatened, somewhat politely.
Ravenous for action, Dedede agreed to fight Zan, with Escargoon by his side.
Sighing, Zan pulled her now electrified Partizan from its hiding place. With a slight groan, she thrusted it forwards and took a jump backwards. Rushing forwards, Dedede slammed his mallet on the ground and sent Zan back by a small step. Honestly, Escargoon had no idea of how to defend himself. He was incapable of self defence, and he knew it. "Hey Goonie, lift me up and spin me!" He ordered.
Smirking, he did as his majesty had commanded; he hoisted Dedede up by his feet and began spinning recklessly as Dedede stuck his mallet out. Zan got hit multiple times by the mallet due to how quickly Escargoon spun him. Weakly, she pulled another weapon out. From its appearance, it looked relatively harmless. Her new weapon had the look of a giant fan, until she turned it on. Balls of electricity sparked and hissed, throwing themselves at the two attackers. Using his mallet, Dedede reflected the attacks. Charging his own attack up, Dedede held his hammer behind him until he was ready to launch it. Finally, he'd charged enough energy to swing his hammer so powerfully that it set afire. Taking a blow from it, Zan got knocked to a side, completely unconscious. Giving each other a high five, the duo realized how effective they worked together.
"Man, when you two cooperate, you can beat the shit out of people.." Maddie complimented, a slight tone of envy evident in her voice.
"Ehehe, thanks girlie!" Dedede boomed, his voice louder than he intended.
Waking up, Zan picked herself up off the floor and dashed for the Jamba Heart. "You and this Jambastion can burn for all I care!" She hissed in spite.
Suddenly, she stuck her Partizan into the object in the middle of the room. As she fled the scene, she laughed maniacally.
Lava bled out and filled the room as it collapsed. The whole place was beginning to fall apart because the main support beam was broken. Hurriedly, Susie lead them outside as rubble made it's way down to the floor. Dust clouded the room and lava spilled over the floor and collected in puddles.

The travelers sat around the broad campfire, cooking food over the open flame. Normally, conversation filled the air and a bubbly, half hearted atmosphere could be felt. But, no. Everyone had fallen under this eery silence, as if a spell had silenced them all. Once the food was ready, the sound of eating could be heard. Still, not enough to lift the spirits of the group. What bothered them? Nothing did, they were deep in thought and those who weren't felt too disturbed to talk. Sitting back a little, Maddie tilted her posture back a bit so she could feel more comfortable. Taking a look over at (Y/n), she realized how tired they were that night. "I believe we should be getting some rest sooner or later." Maddie mumbled, breaking the silence.
Retiring to their beds for the night, they rested. Retreating back to the campfire, Maddie noticed a certain someone decided to make a bold decision and stay awake too.
"The stars look lovely tonight, don't they?" Maddie pointed out, making a common observation.
Startled by the noise, Meta Knight spun around to look at who had disturbed him. To no surprise, he found Maddie relaxing on the branch besides him. "Yes, the stars look lovely tonight."
Maddie was reminded of something she wanted to talk about.
"Hey, you've been acting a bit..absurd around me recently, something up?" She stuttered, diverting her view.
"Just a bit worried about upsetting you, that's all. Ever since what happened before, I've tried to be a bit more cautious and conscious about my behaviour." He answered.
Completely astounded, Maddie's eyes widened in realization. "You're still upset about that? I already forgave you, we all get a bit lost sometimes when it comes to self control." She laughed.
Relieved, he felt much more at peace. With his cape wrapped around him, he joined Maddie on the bench to gaze at the stars. "How enchanting are they? One gaze and you feel completely lost forever.." Maddie whispered.
"When did you start talking using fancy words?" Meta Knight teased.
"Around you, lol. I don't know, I assumed we'd get a better conversation or something." Maddie laughed, a bit humiliated.
The two started laughing together, with the stars watching over them.
After a few more minutes of entertaining conversation, they decided it was a cunning decision to go to sleep.
"Before we go, I have a question." Maddie told him.
Gesturing her to continue, he listened carefully.
"Well, how are things going with Galacta Knight? You don't seem to be doing anything mushy like kissing or cuddling.." she asked him, sounding slightly embarrassed for making the observation.
Slightly surprised, he gave Maddie an answer,"Well, we do things like that occasionally.. we don't do it often or in front of people. Galacta Knight insists we should do it in public but I suggest we shouldn't."
"Aww, I'd love to see you hug or something.." Maddie muttered, a bit disappointed. "Well, goodnight Meta Knight."
