Away in Dreamland (Kirby fanfiction)

Pushing him too far

Everyone was up and gathered in the mains room of the ship. (Y/n) didn't know if they should trust Magolor or not after what they had heard that night. "It's going to be stormy today so I'm going to send more of you. This time, Kirby, Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, Galacta Knight and the..humans..can go..." He sighed.
This left (Y/n) and Meta Knight on board, accompanied by Magolor.

(Y/n) was cheerfully having breakfast in a different room to Magolor and Meta Knight. They were clearly talking, though what they said was muffled. At first, it sounded like a normal conversation but then it began to sound like an argument. Squeezing their eyes shut, (Y/n) tried to making it so they couldn't hear it.

"Galacta Knight won't have to know.."

Were the words (Y/n) heard last. Was Magolor..hitting on him? How many people had tried that now?

(Y/n) scampered through into the room to see Magolor attempting to force himself onto Meta Knight.
"Hey, what's going on?" (Y/n) yelled at him.
Magolor withdrew and acted innocent."Me and Meta Knight were just getting to know each other.."
"No, you weren't. Whatever you are trying to do, it isn't funny.." (Y/n) choked, believing it was wrong to trust him.
Magolor huffed and retreated to his bedroom to think. The young puffball came to the side of the masked puffball. "Are you alright? I didn't want him to hurt you." They cooed.
"I'm fine, thanks." He told them.

"What did Magolor say? With the whole, 'Galacta Knight won't know' thing?" The younger puff asked.
"Something you won't need to understand until you're older." He snickered.

(Y/n) kind of understood what he meant, but didn't at the same time. They didn't think too much about it because it was insignificant to them.

Wrapping their arms around him, (Y/n) pulled Meta Knight into a hug. "I just want you to be safe.."

Hours had passed by, and still no word from the others. It made (Y/n) incredibly worried, especially since Magolor couldn't be trusted. Soon enough, Becca had teleported them all back. "Sorry we couldn't get the wing, it was so close but it was too dangerous." She apologised.
The Halcandran gave a pitiful look,"Oh, well I just hoped you would make it back in one piece." He lied.
"Hmph, as if." Maddie groaned,"Anyway, Galacta Knight took a hit from the lightning and is in a rough condition. I healed him a bit but he'll need some rest."

Magolor eyed the injured Knight. He was a few steps away from getting out of his way entirely. If he..killed him..nobody would mind..right?

The thought lingered in his mind, getting Galacta Knight out of his way was quite important. Magolor's hopes fell when Meta Knight rushed to the aid of his injured lover.

He'll guard him like a hawk, making my chances of murdering him as slim as zero.

The Halcandran gritted his teeth. He was so close yet so far away from competing his scheme!
