The Ultimate Power awakens

Down.

Further down.

Constant descension.

Deeper and deeper into the darkness, where evil lurks and those who are innocent get corrupt by desires.
Further and further down the group went, the staircase never ending, trailing on forever.
Until finally they touched the final step.
Pushing her hands forwards, she lit thousands of candles, illuminating the room. To the others, it had the appearance of an average sized library, with a book stand and a cauldron. Shelves were stacked with ingredients for potions and others filled with books. "This is a place where I come to practice my spellcasting. I fear she casted that spell on Kirby, out of spite or accidentally." Becca theorised, opening a thick book and shoving it onto the book holder.
Flicking through the aged pages, she noticed how time had worn away at the youthful appearance the pages once had, having become crinkled as time flew by. Dust had collected on the jars, their contents now a mystery had they not been marked. Breaking away from the group, Meta Knight went to inspect the different books that stacked upon the shelves. "I see you have books on Star Warrior history and on the wars that had happened." He stated,"How did you get hold of these?"
Walking over to him, she scanned the cover and told him,"Well, my mother and father have lived for who knows how long, so they probably got them made as the war waged on."
Taking another glance at the book, he realized that it didn't say who the author was which puzzled him. Noticing his observation, she took the book up in her hands and flicked through its tattered pages. Ink blots stained through a few pages at a time and the writing wasn't printed, it was hand written. "This looks like more of a diary than a novel or history book. Huh, I never knew this existed. Probably from a relative or something along the lines of." She shrugged, heading back over to the stand and leaving Meta Knight to ponder.
"A spell...a spell...what spells are there..?" (Y/n) mumbled, turning the pages and searching for a spell or potion that would help or looked somewhat useful.
Suddenly, they heard the door slam in the distance, then the locking of the door. "We're trapped!" Sword Knight shouted, alarmed by it.
"Calm it, Sword." Blade calmed.
Rolling her eyes, she turned to a page where it appeared that a page was missing. A slither of paper trailed down the centre of the book, showing them something was taken. "That spell was a powerful one; when chanted it can bring back the dead." Becca gasped, covering her mouth in shock. "The dead isn't something to be messed with.."
Running back up the stairs, she urged the others to follow. "Look ,if it gets into the wrong hands, it's possible someone like NME could be reborn which would put us all at risk!" She warned.
Placing her head next to the door, she heard the laughs of a familiar child.
"Nightmare will be reborn, Rebecca. Not even your precious 'Ultimate Power' can save you now, you'll perish like the mortals." Tiff scoffed, fondling the keys in her hands.

"What? The spell..gone?!" Alice freaked, her skin crawling,"No, but how? How?! That spell was protected by Rebecca Bethany Starstruck, the strongest of the five of us."
"It's not time to drown in self pity or regret, we have lives at risk here and we should do something about it." Trixie commanded.
"Girls..I know it is a bad situation at the moment, but we can take advantage of this. Finally, we can use the Ultimate Power, the very soul of magic itself." Veronica reminded, giving a rather cocky smile.
"Indeed, she's not wrong. Maybe, that's what they were on about? Remember, our parents babbled on about some holy sacred power only have have access to?" Alice chimed in.
The girls exchanged nods and set off for Cappy Town to locate their final sister in the sisterhood.

Banging on the door, Becca demanded Tiff released them and returned the page before it was too late. "Tiffany Ebrum! You have no idea what you are on about! This isn't time for jokes, we're serious!" Becca snarled. "Let us out!"
Taking out Galaxia, Meta Knight slashed the door into thirds, releasing them all.
"Tiff, give that here!" Becca growled, holding her hand out.
"Never, I'll rebuild what Nightmare had, his empire, his power and his army.."  she smirked, holding the paper in her hands and readying herself to read it.

Through the powers of time and space,
I call upon a power to erase
The tragic death of NME,
Let him live once again, and make history!

The words were said and Tiff fell to the floor just as four girls came around the corner. "The spell!" Veronica hissed,"She's said the spell, he's been resurrected!"
A demon frog hopped off of Tiff's back and fled down the looming hallways of Castle Dedede. Coming forward, Becca lifted a necklace from around her throat, displaying a shard of what looked like a warp star. All the girls followed, placing the shards together. "The Ultimate Power has been awoken.." Becca gasped, looking at her friends.
"Now's not the time for admiration! The world as we know it is in danger and we have to save it!" Mollie reminded her.

Looking over at the Knights, (Y/n) and Kirby, they knew it would only be right if they brought them along. "If you have a warp star, it would be best to ride on that. We have to fix this mistake of mine, now." Mollie commanded, jumping onto a warp star of her own. "Follow me."

"The only true way to defeat NME of he rises again is the Ultimate Power, a combination of the 5 elemental guardians. The true power has existed the entire time, they just had to wake it up from it's dormancy." Dedede read aloud to his sidekick.
The mollusk raised an eyebrow at this, what did this nonsensical babble mean? It took a split second for him to evaluate the text and make sense of it. Gasping in shock, he explained to Dedede what he made out of the writing. "They believe that it awakens a new power, but in reality it just awakens a dormant power from it's slumber. "
