Venture Forth! Pt14 - Reminiscing memories

The grey Knight and the ruler decided it was best that they both kept their distance from one another. King Dedede hung around Escargoon, Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee and Astro as Dark Meta Knight hung out with the Knight Bois.

(Y/n) was stuck in the middle of it all. They couldn't decide if they wanted to hang out with the knights or their other friends. They were lost for decisions and wandered in between the two groups.

The stars of the galaxy shone brightly, their radiant glow glistening proudly as they marked the sky. Stories had been made about the stars, some stating they were average rocks and others saying each individual one represented a star warrior who had passed. (Y/n) wasn't sure what to believe.

All there was that filled the air was the sound of them trudging onwards miserably.

Becca couldn't stand the sound and struck up a conversation,"Hey, (Y/n), remember the egg hunt we had?"

The small puffball perked up at the possibility of a conversation,"Yes, I remember the egg hunt. Will we be doing anything like that for Halloween? Or..or Christmas?"

Maddie nodded, beaming happily all the while,"If Becca doesn't do it then I will. Halloween is the holiday I live for. It's my soul. So is Christmas."

"Speaking of memories, what about the time we went to Wonderland?" (Y/n) intervened.

Shaking her head, Maddie told them that she didn't recall being there.
"I do, though. We met Morpho Knight there and defeated Haltmann for good. Oh, imagine if Meta Knight and Galacta Knight for married there!" Becca piped up. "That's be cute."

"What about Sectonia? Remember defeating her?" Maddie chimed in, expecting them to remember.

"Well, Astro defeated Sectonia but sure." Becca corrected.

Dissatisfied, Maddie gave a slight groan,"Alright then, remember when Astro defeated Sectonia?"

Spontaneously, Becca burst out laughing. When they asked what it was that made her laugh, she said,
" S e c t o e n a i l."

Maddie didn't really understand but shrugged and gave a snicker anyway. "Hey remember when we met Dark Meta Knight?" She asked them.

"Uh, didn't he kiss Galacta Knight and annoy Meta Knight a ton?" (Y/n) mentioned on the topic of them meeting him.

"Pretty sure that's true.." The two humans both nodded in sync.

"Remember that random God person who kept giving us eggs on Easter and egged DMK?" Kirby brought up, suddenly entering the conversation.

All of them nodded, they remembered but still didn't understand it at all.

"Do you remember that time that I heroically saved the day?" Dedede smirked, getting involved."I defeated that baddie with my guns."

They stared at him, confused. He hadn't ever defeated a villain before, and hadn't even touched a firearm either.

Then, Dedede ripped his shirt off for no reason. "Who needs firearms with guns like these?" He murmured in a low voice.

"Dedede, this is why you don't have anyone who loves you." Lillian frowned, making a good point.

Embarrassed, Dedede folded his arms and diverted his view.

"Whatever, weirdo." She scowled, following what he had done.
