Plot and Idea: Interesting
Genre: Mystery/Thriller
Summary:
Some events lead Gemma to being forced by her mom to stay with someone else, a frenemy..
That frenemy goes by the name Jace, they didn't get along very well at first because Jace was a huge jerk to her. Jace started treating Gemma better then others though. Who knows why.
Someone keeps leaving Gemma creepy notes and paying her visits she doesn't want. Gemma wants to know who it is and what they want from her. It just gets too out of control.
Can Jace save her in the end?
My Review: Alright, so you have a wonderful cover that can catch a readers attention, though the pace of your story is a bit too fast. The description could be a bit better and the punctuation needs some serious work. The format of your paragraphs is pretty good, but you need to work on dialogue and sentence structure more. Also in terms of the length of chapters it doesn't seem to be bad, but make sure not to under share or overshare, as to not confuse your readers.
Your development is pretty static in terms of growing your characters, but the grammar doesn't seem quite bad. You do have proper capitalization and spacing the majority of the time, but the tense you use when writing is iffy since you switch back and forth. This story needs a lot of work, don't get me wrong, but this story has potential. You need to obviously fix the kinks, but once everything if smoothened out this can be a wonderful book.
