Over the years I'd come to realise that letting Harry run around outside is often a very risky decision.

Whether it's a game of volleyball at the beach or a simple stroll to the mailbox he always found one way or another to trip, or fall, or cut something, or smack into something. I didn't know if it had something to do with his lanky limbs, or if he was just as coordinated as much as a four year with bad eyesight but the guy was a serious hazard when it comes to outdoors. And indoors, if I counted all the times he'd walked into doors.

Clumsy was the understatement of the year.

Now we've done plenty of charity footballs games and there wasn't too much trouble, nothing more than a few grass burns and sore elbows. He'd sprained a wrist once too, if I'd remembered right.

I was running alongside Louis and Niall while Harry was somewhere up ahead, dribbling the ball up the field towards the goal. Waving at the crowd in the stadiums I laughed and grinned.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a mass of curly hair and fancy football boots soaring through the air. My head whipped over just in time to see Harry roll to a stop on the grass.

Louis snorted while Niall burst out laughing, even going as far as to fall over his knees. I picked up my pace and briskly made my way over to where he was trying to collect himself. It happened often enough for it to be funny and I had laughed to but now he was moving slowly and even more clumsily than usual, a hand presses against the side of his head.

There were plenty of guys around him offering a hand up and I added mine to the mix when I got close enough, "you alright mate? You took quite a spill."

He blinked a few times and finally looked up, locking his gaze with mine. His eyes were foggy and wavering, as if he couldn't quite focus.

"Hit my head..." he murmured and squinted, his face screwing up.

"Is he okay?"

There was some medic standing beside us now, peering down at Harry curiously. The other players backed off as he grew even closer, kneeling down in front of Harry. Louis and Niall had caught up and were watching the situation fold out too.

He asked Harry a few questions too quietly for me to make out and then told us that he'd probably need to have a rest on the sidelines, that he might be concussed. The statement made me wince. I didn't realise he'd hit the ground that hard. Really I should of known, knowing what Harry was like I should've assumed worse.

"Can you get up Mate? We're gonna go sit for a bit," I told Harry, massaging his shoulder gently.

"But I wanna play!" He shook his head stubbornly, causing his body to sway as he squeezed his eyes shut, "...sp-spinning."

"I know H, that's why you can't play. Come on, let us help you up," Niall explained as he took one side of Harry while I grabbed onto the other. The game behind us had resumed as we were reasonably close to the edge. I caught the longing look on Louis' face as we got ready to make the walk back to the sidelines.

"You can carry on if you want to Lou," I smiled encouragingly, nodding back towards the field.

He sighed and smiled back, "nah, that's alright. I'm happy just watching."
