One Direction Sickfics

Louis stomach bug- for hopelessdirectioner9

"Li?" Louis asked in a quiet voice as he walked into the kitchen where Liam was currently cooking some eggs for breakfast. Louis woke up that morning feeling incredibly sick and he knew there was no way he could make it through the entire day of promo without throwing up.

He wanted to ask if they could postpone the interviews or at least just cancel because he was feeling absolutely terrible at the minute. It was tough for him to even stand in the same room as the eggs but he tried to stay strong so he could ask the question.

"Yeah, Lou?" Liam asked, not shifting his attention away from the pan full of nearly done scrambled eggs. He stirred it carefully and Louis nearly gagged at the sight. He swallowed hard and decided if he was going to tell Liam he'd have to do it soon or he would end up finding out another way.

"I feel really sick," Louis whimpered and he felt tears beginning to fill his eyes at the words. He absolutely hated being sick and he did not want to go through with a full day of promo feeling this bad. He usually liked to stay at home in his bed when he was sick, waiting for it all to be over.

He didn't want to leave the comfort of the house and he knew if he had to sit in the car for even a minute he would be puking onto the floor which would cause extreme chaos seeing as Niall was terrible with vomit.

The Irish boy couldn't handle the sight or smell of it and would usually end up making himself sick from panicking, so Louis knew they had to stay home or it would be a long day. He took a couple steps back from the pan full of food so he could actually speak without feeling like he was going to be sick all over the floor.

Liam had a look of confusion on his face and Louis didn't understand. Shouldn't he be looking a little more sympathetic? Louis didn't understand what part of 'I feel really sick' was confusing to Liam but he stood there silently, his confused expression slowly transforming into an amused one.

"Sorry Lou, I don't believe it," Liam stated before turning back to his eggs, carefully putting them onto four plates before setting the pan in the sink and turning on the water. Louis couldn't believe Liam thought he was lying.

Louis didn't even mind doing promo, he actually enjoyed it most of the time and would never fake being sick just to get out of it. Louis felt more tears filling his eyes and hoped Liam would believe him after seeing just how upset he was about all this.

"Go get the other boys, yeah?" Liam said as he waved his hand, sassily gesturing for Louis to scram. Louis frowned before walking out of the kitchen. He was only two steps into his journey when he felt last night's dinner quickly rising up his throat.

He swallowed hard before speed-walking into the bathroom. He barely made it in time but he knew if he went any faster he would just upset his stomach more and probably end up with a mess on the floor rather than in the toilet.

Louis groaned at the feeling in his stomach before gripping onto the bathroom counter, positioning himself over the sink as he prepared for the inevitable. He didn't think he had enough time to make it to the toilet but soon realized he did after standing over the sink for a few uneventful moments.

He hoped Liam would walk into the bathroom to offer an apology and maybe some help once he realized what was happening. Louis closed his eyes and took a deep breath before heaving harshly over the sink.

He turned on the water as he gagged again. He decided if he was going to make a mess in the sink he'd rather not see it for long so he wanted it to be washed away immediately. After two more unsuccessful gags Louis figured maybe he didn't have to be sick after all.

He turned off the water and waited for a moment, hoping the feeling would pass completely and he would be fine for now. Just when he thought everything was good he felt his stomach lurch unexpectedly. He threw himself back over the sink, leaning over as far as he could as he puked.
