☆Alexis' POV
I sit behind my desk working on my sketches, with my math homework half done. I hear a knock.
"C'mon in!" I say.
"Don't mind if I do" Mrs. Norman says, entering with a smile.
She was all dressed up and looking great.
"Wow! You look amazing" I say standing up and giving her a hug.
"The boys convinced me to dress up so they could take me out for dinner since it's my birthday tomorrow".
I smile.
"But I've been trying to call Jared and he's not picking".
I pick up my phone.
"He hasn't called. He said he'd be running an errand after school though" I say.
"Well anyway, tell him we're gone when he comes back hm?".
"Of course I will. I'll try to call him".
"Oh yes, I almost forgot. Miley's parents will pick her up today so please don't let anyone in and be very careful. The pack guards are on patrol outside".
"Why?".
"Well, you need to be protected and besides we'll be back in two days".
"Where exactly are you going?".
"They won't tell me. It's a surprise" she smiles.
"Ah" I mouth.
"Well we'll be going now. Bye love".
I walk her downstairs and stay out till the car is out of sight. I chat with Miley about girl stuff before her parents arrive and I walk back into my room.
I check my phone.
Nothing!
I sigh and plug in my charger before going to take a shower. I walk back out 30 minutes later toweling my hair dry when the door opens and she rushes in.
"Keana? What are you doing here?" I ask.
She closes the door and arches her eyebrow.
"You're not funny Lex. Where's he?" she asks looking around.
I give her a confused look.
"It's nice to see you too. What brings you here-".
"Come out, come out wherever you are" she says and whistles looking under my bed.
I laugh.
"You can't do this to me Jarre-Bear" she says and sits on the bed with a pout.
I give her an amused look.
"When you're ready to talk, let me know" I say and walk back to the bathroom to dry the towel.
I walk back out.
"Where's Jared?".
"That's much better" I smile.
"We were supposed to hang out tonight!" she says with a pout.
"Well I have no idea where your British boyfriend has disappeared to" I say.
She looks at me.
"He hasn't called you today?".
"Not even a text" I say as she picks up my phone.
"Password?" she asks. "Nevermind".
She unlocks it.
