Y/N's P.O.V:

Quidditch practice took up most of my free time, aside from homework. It was refreshing to say the least, I did enjoy burying myself in work, it kept my mind busy and didn't give me time to overthink, until something came up, Hogsmeade.

Everyone looked forward to these visits to get their mind off their work, but I had other plans. There was this small library that no one ever went to, the man who kept it looked scary but was actually really nice and he let me read dozens of books of my choosing, he even made me tea every once in a while.

When the day arrived I tried to hide from the rain, the weather wasn't ideally for most but for me it was perfect for reading. I walked through the rain and into the store. "Hello again miss L/N" The man walked out from behind the counter while I shook off the water from my coat. "I thought we've been over this, call me Y/N" The man smiled sweetly and walked to the back, I took off my coat and hanged it so that I could sit down comfortably by the fire.

The man came back out with a cup of steaming tea, he handed it to me and I smiled. "Thank you" The man nodded in acknowledgment and walked over to the walls covered in books, I took a sip of the sweetened tea. "What will it be today miss L/N?" I turned around on the couch to face the man, even after a year of coming here I still didn't know his name. "How about you decide" "I hoped you would say that" I looked confused at the man as he grabbed a brown book, it couldn't have been more than 200 pages long, I was surprised at first because he usually knew I preferred longer books but I said nothing and saw how he handed me the book and sat across me. "This book just arrived, I know how much you love psychology and this book is all about it" I slowly smiled and opened the book to start reading.

Hours passed and I kept reading, that book was really interesting. The man kept walking in and out of the main room. I was deep in my reading when suddenly the man placed a hand over the page I was reading I looked up and he had a sweet smile on his face. I closed the book slowly and sat up straight, the man sitting across me once more. "I think it is time" My eyes widened in shock and I nearly dropped the book I was holding. "Already!" I was about to run to the door when the man signalled me to sit down once more, I did. "I meant it is time that you go and make some friends, you always come into my shop alone and leave  just how you arrived" I shook my head. "I really don't-" The man held up a hand and I shut up. "When I was your age I was just like you, I felt like I didn't need any friends. And now look at me an old lonely man in an abandoned library" I started to feel pity and the man seemed to notice. "I'm not telling you this story so that you feel pity for me miss L/N. I'm telling you this so that you don't make the same mistakes I made" I stared at the floor embarrassed, the man grabbed my hand sweetly. "How about you go to the three broomsticks and tell Rosmerta I said hello" He reached into his pocket and handed me a couple of galleons, I immediately refused but he kept insisting, I instead grabbed the book. "How about this I'll go but I get to borrow the book instead of the money" The man places the galleons back into his pocket. "Very well, now run along" I smiled grabbed my jacket and the book and left. It wasn't raining anymore but it was still cold.
I arrived at the three broomsticks and sat down at the table at the furthest corner, I opened my book and started reading not bothering to order a butterbeer because I couldn't afford it, so I just decided to read.
Oliver's P.O.V:
I sat in the three broomsticks with Percy. We were both drinking our butterbeers with me trying to calm down Percy, assuring him that he would be prefect next year. I was zoning out one of Percy's (multiple) explanations of how he wasn't good enough when I noticed a certain H/C haired girl reading in the corner, I smirked slightly and Percy cleared his throat loudly, I snapped out of my gaze and turned back to Percy. "Did you even listen to a word I said?" I shrugged. "No I didn't, because you need to stop worrying about not becoming a prefect because you most definitely will be!" Percy tolled his eyes and took a gulp of butterbeer, I got distracted once more by the H/C haired Ravenclaw. "How about we talk about your problems Wood" I turned my attention back to him. "Well quidditch season is about to start and your brothers-" "Not quidditch problems" I raised an eyebrow at him. "Your girl problems" I nearly spat the butterbeer I was drinking. I opened my mouth to argue but Percy beat me to it. "Don't even try to deny it, I've seen you looking at that L/N girl, and I'm getting she's the one in the table behind us" I nodded slightly and took another sip of butterbeer, Percy furrowed his brows and signaled for the waitress to order another butterbeer, his current butterbeer was almost full but I didn't question him. When the butterbeer arrived he slid it over to me. "I alredy got one Perce" He sighed loudly. "It's not for you" At first I was confused until Percy moved slightly so that I had a clear view Y/N, and then I understood. I slowly stood up and Percy handed me the butterbeer, I walked over to her, she was extremely focused on her book, her E/C eyes lighting up every once in a while I couldn't help but smile. "Hi can I -" She didn't even look up from her book. "I don't want anything thank you" "Guess I'll have to drink both of these butterbeers by myself" I made sure to accent my Scottish accent so she knew who I was. She finally looked up from her book and looked at me confusedly. "Wood?" I smiled warmly at her. "Can I sit?" I motioned to the seat next to booth she was sitting in, she nodded and went back to her book. I sat down and placed both butterbeers on the table. "Are you sure you don't want one? I don't think I'll be able to finish them both without barfing" She tried to hide it but I noticed her small giggle, she grabbed the butterbeer from behind her book and drank a sip. "Just so you know I only took the butterbeer out of pity for you" I smiled at her slight blush. "I know" We sat in comfortable silence for a while but then I decided it was time to learn a bit more about her. "What are you reading?" She took another sip of butterbeer. "A book" We both laughed at her sassy reply. "And what's the book about?" "Psychology" "Is it interesting?" "Yes" I chugged the last of my butterbeer. "I've never read a book about that" "Let me guess you've only read books about schoolwork and quidditch" I laughed quietly. "You caught me" She laughed slightly as she as well chugged the last of the butterbeer. She closed her book and looked at me directly, we both got lost in each other's eyes but then she abruptly stood up and walked to the door I followed behind her leaving money on the table for the drinks. She was walking towards an old building that seemed to be a library, I was still a bit behind but I kept running to catch up to her. She entered the building without a second glance I followed closely behind. When I entered the building a bell sounded, it was really dusty and the wood floor creaked when you stepped on it. An old man with long white shaggy hair turned his attention from Y/N to me, I smiled awkwardly. "Did you follow me Wood?" I shifted awkwardly where I stood. "Maybe?" She crossed her arms. "I knew you were a stalker" I turned a bright shade of pink, the man whispered something to Y/N and she immediately turned as pink as me. "Goodbye see you next trip" the man nodded and Y/N walked past me, she stopped at the door. "Are ya coming Wood?" I nodded. "Goodbye sir" The man nodded in acknowledgment and I walked out with Y/N. "Are you sure you want to come with me?" I looked confusedly at her. "Why wouldn't I be?" She smirked. "Percy could get mad" "How did you know I came with Percy?" She looked at me with a cocky smirk. "I know everything Wood" I smirked back. "Really? What did I have for breakfast?" She looked back at the road still with a smirk. "Waffles, a cup of coffee and an apple" (A/N: I don't know I just wrote random foods you can imagine whatever you want if you don't like it) "Who's the stalker now?" Somehow we had arrived at the castle, Y/N stopped in the middle of the corridor and turned around to face me. "Hope you enjoyed your stalking" We laughed. "I did. Hope you enjoyed the butterbeer" She pretended to think. "I didn't" We laughed once more. "See ya around Wood" "See ya" She walked off towards the Ravenclaw common room, while I went to search for Percy to apologize for ditching on him.
Y/N's P.O.V:
It had been a few days since the Hogsmeade, and Oliver greeted me every morning since then, I was really starting to consider him a friend sometimes but then I reminded myself that I was a lone wolf and that I didn't have friends. It was a windy day and everyone was hiding inside the Castle, so no one would bother me outside today. Or that's what I thought, while I was in the middle of tuning my ukelele I heard someone walking over, I immediately hid the ukelele and looked to see who it was, and what a surprise it was no one else but Oliver Wood. He sat down next to me and leaned on the tree gazing at the black lake. "Hello Wood, yes sure you can sit down" He looked at me and smiled. "Thanks" I rolled my eyes and shifted without squashing my ukelele. We sat in silence for a few minutes until I got tired and broke the silence. "What can I help you with Wood?" He crossed his legs and turned to look at me once more. "I just wanted to talk" I rolled my eyes. "Great, then talk" He thought carefully for his next words. "Have you ever played 20 questions?" I shook my head still confused. He chuckled. " Me neither but I suppose the point is one of us asks a question and the other answers" I rolled my eyes once more. "And let me guess you want to play" He shifted so we were now face to face. "What a great idea L/N. I'll go first, what's your favourite color?" "It's F/C (A/N: That means favourite color in case you didn't know), yours?" "Red" (A/N: I don't actually know his favourite color but I'll just suppose it's red, anyways I'll stop with my notes) I rolled my eyes laughing. "Shocker" He laughed slightly. "Your turn" I thought for a second and then sat confidently. "What's your worst fear?" He shook his head in amusement. "Jumping to the juicy questions huh" "Don't avoid the question Wood" "Fine, I'm not actually sure probably failure. What about yours?" " I don't know, let's go with books running out" He laughed and I forced my laughter. I actually did know my worst fear, to be a disappointment and end up alone, I had this tough girl façade that I had to keep but deep down those were my fears. "You know two can play that game. What would be your perfect date?" He was really pushing my buttons. "Well..Probably just talking somewhere where it isn't crowded. Definitely not-" "Madam Pudifoot's" We both laughed. "You get me Wood" "Well I for one would like a date with-" "Quidditch" He laughed but shook his head. "Yes and no. I would prefer just a private date maybe at the astronomy tower or something like that" Now that was a side of Oliver I had never seen before, not talking about quidditch. I decided to do a little research to threaten Alice with. "My turn I suppose. Who was your first kiss Wood?" I clearly made him uncomfortable because he turned scarlet. "I-Uh well it was this girl last year" I suddenly started feeling sick and regretted the question, I had never regretted knowledge before, but now I did and I didn't understand why. "Who was it?" He shifted uncomfortably and started playing with the grass. "I honestly don't know, it was in a stupid game. I was blindfolded and wasn't allowed to ask questions as to who I kissed so I never figured it out" He lifted his gaze from the grass to look at me with my shocked face. "Jeez. I can figure out if you'd like" He shifted his gaze back to the grass and chuckled. "Nah don't worry about it. Sometimes it's better not knowing" I scoffed. "I disagree but oh well your choice" He laughed and looked back at me. "And you, please don't tell me your first kiss was Flint" He spoke with venom in his voice when he said his name, and I couldn't blame him, Flint wasn't a likeable guy. "I-well I...never kissed someone" I spoke the last three words in a whisper, Oliver stared at me in shock. "You're kidding" I shook my head and patted my ukelele. "Why? I mean look at you-" I didn't even pay proper attention at what he said before I started speaking. "Well I don't know if you've noticed Wood but after all those rumours no one would want to kiss the girl who is even meaner than you-know-who" For some reason I was sad, but Oliver placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "I'm sure there's someone out there wanting to kiss you" "Says the guy who everyone has a crush on" I realized too late what I had just said. Oliver stared in shock. "Everyone has a crush on me?" "N-no" He laughed. "You really do know everything don't you" I shrugged and smirked, we both bursted our laughing. "My turn, with how many secrets could you threaten me?" I raised an eyebrow towards him. "Do you really want to know?" He nodded. "At least three" He tried keeping a straight face but failed and burst out laughing once more, I couldn't help but join in. A gust of wind passed us and I shivered, Oliver got closer to me. "Cold?" "A bit" He draped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him. I started to blush furiously so I hid my face with my scarf, a few seconds later I stood up abruptly. "I forgot I had to do something, see ya!" I quickly grabbed my ukelele and started running towards the castle. I heard a faint "See ya" as I ran towards the common room.

A/N: Sorry if the chapter is a bit short, but I'm running out of ideas for Y/N's 4th year. I think I'll write a Christmas chapter, another filler and then the end. If you have ideas for the filler chapter feel free to comment them. Have a nice day ;-)
