" madeline...." i heard someone say as i was paying my bill.
i turn around and there he was.
"jason?"i ask raising an eyebrow.
"yeah." he chuckles.
jason was one of my highschool boyfriends. we didnt last long because he moved in the 10th grade.
i give him a slight hug.
"how are you? you look beautiful by the way." he smiles..
"awh thanks! im good ..im good..." i smile back.
" here, ill walk you out to your car." he opens the door for me.
"so, i thought you moved to ohio?" i ask.
" i did. but i just got an apartment here in LA. so yeah." he sounds nervous.
"oh nice!!"

"i heard your engaged now right?"

" thats good .. uhm hey, can i get your number or something so we can catch up sometime..?" he pulls his phone out.
i raise an eyebrow..
" as friends!!" he chuckles..
" sure." i smirk and type my number into his phone.
we've been standing at my car for a little bit now.
" hey, ill see you around! but you should totally come out to my show tonight! itll be at the Avenue Bar. i have most of my shows there." i smile, getting into my car.
" of course." he shuts my door for me.
i tried calling diego.
but he didnt answer.
when i got to my house, i noticed another car in the driveway.
