LOVE YOU, HAPPY READING :D -

A little after she woke up, a different arrays of mushrooms, spores and pollen popped up on Willow's head.

She said she couldn't wait for them to fall off. I told her that she looked beautiful either way. She couldn't stop laughing after that.

Then, I decided that it was time to go home. I sent Camila a text, and Gus and I started heading towards the door. Willow stopped us halfway there, and gave us both hugs, and me a kiss on the cheek before waving us off.

"Y'know you're gonna get him sick, right?" Mr. Gilbert commented, worriedly.

By the time she responded, I was already out the door, trying to listen to her response as the door shut behind us.

I gave Gus a fist bump and we talked a little bit before going our seprate ways

The second I stepped inside the house, Camila shoved a weird device in my mouth. After a few confusing moments she pulled it out and stared at the little screen that was in the middle of it.

"No fever..." She mumbled, then set it down on the counter next to her. "Are you feeling okay? Vee already has a flu, I don't need another sick kid in my house right now."

She put her hand on my forehead, pulled it away and sighed.

I was still confused. "I'm feeling fine- plus I've never gotten sick before!"

"Not that you know of at least. Just stay away from your sisters for a few days, alright?" Camila turned her back to me, pulling a few things out of the fridge. "Es temporada de gripe, y tengo cosas que hacer."

(It's flu season, And I have things to do.)

"Lo siento." I replied, taking my coat off. It started snowing again when I got out of the portal and it was so cold. Way colder than it usually got on the Boiling Isles.

She stood up straight and and smiled, raising her hands up slightly. "Oh, no- Hunter. Mijo. It's not your fault. You need to stop thinking that everything is. Take a breath."

I breathed in calmly. Camila always knew how to help. She pushed her hand against my head and turned it to the side. "But ay- you need a hair cut." Then She flicked something off my shoulder and swiftly turned back to digging through the fridge.

I wasn't aware I had let my hair grow out that much since Willow cut it. I guess it had been a few months now. Although I really liked how she cut it last time. Maybe she could cut it again.. I didn't know.

But after I procrastinated a whole week, Camila finally decided she was going to cut my hair. She said she wanted to save it before it turned into a mullet. Now- I have no idea what a mullet is but it sounds terrifying so I agreed to get a trim without hesitation.

To cut my hair, I just sat on a stool in the kitchen while Camila did... whatever I guess. I trusted her. Luz told me when she cut all her hair off with a sword Camila managed to save it.

I got my scroll out to text Willow. We usually didn't text a lot, but we had been a lot more since she had gotten sick. I opened up her contact and was happy to already see a message.
