Surprise Visit - Hunter

- I'm glad most people were happy with the outcome of the last chapter bc I've been planning on writing an argument forever and I had literally no idea how to do it

I was sitting in the living room with Vee and Luz. 

Mom was in the kitchen listening to the Cosmic Frontier audiobook and cooking.

Vee was sitting on a lounge chair next to the couch, her tail stretched out over the side and one of her beanie babies on her lap.

I think it was the anteater one named "Ants". It wasn't a very creative name but it was what was on the tag and Vee couldn't bare to change it.

"It's already used to the name Ants! What if it doesn't want to change it?" She had said.

I was going to argue that it was just a stuffed toy but Luz stopped me. 

Speaking of Luz, she was on her Nintendo Switch on the opposite side of the couch as me, playing Animal Crossing with Amity.

Amity was in the demon realm, but Luz had saved up her money to get Amity a Switch Light for her birthday so they could play Animal Crossing and Minecraft together.

Also so they could play Undertale and Deltarune separately. 

I was on the other side of the couch, my leg stretched out right next to Luz. 

Miraculously, none of us had kicked each other in the face yet.

Yet was the key word.

I was on my phone texting Willow. 

Vee came by and placed a beanie baby on my head and looked over my shoulder. "Who are you texting?" She asked.

Luz giggled, clicking something on her switch. "Is that even a question Vee? He's texting Willow. Even since they made up from the fight, if she's not here, they're always texting."

I put my phone down and kicked her in the face.

It needed to happen at some point.

"Hijo de puta! You made me lose my fish! Perra estúpida!" She yelled

"Your digital fish is the only stupid one!" I yelled back to her. 

Camila popped her head into the living room, leaning on the doorframe. "What is all the yelling about? You're giving me a headache."

Luz clicked off her switch. "Hunter kicked me in the face!" 

"Luz keeps swearing at me!" I told Camila defensively.

"I didn't do anything." Vee said, taking her beanie boo back into her arms.

She never did anything wrong. Vee was like the sweetest sister ever. She was my favorite when Luz kicked me in the face.

Actually, never mind, she was my favorite all of the time.

"Okay, let's solve this problem. Hunter- you have to surrender your phone to me until after dinner and Luz, you have to come into the kitchen and help me."

"Heh." Luz smirked at me. "That's not even a punishment, I love helping you cook."

"Oh no, you're not helping me cook, you're going to set the table and help clean up afterwards for swearing at your brother."

Luz groaned and I stuck my tongue at her. She made a face at me and followed Mom into the kitchen.

Contrary to a lot of my friends, I could do just fine without my phone.
