Happy reading : ) -

Willow grabbed me by the arm and jumped up and down.

She was very excited to be here. I was too, of course, but maybe not as excited as she was.

"C'mon let's go check it out!" She said, pulling my hand, and tugging me towards the mansion.

The sun shined down, highlighting the bright hues of her hair and bouncing off the shimmering rims of her glasses.

Actually, everything about her sort of shined in the sun. She was just this bright light.

When I didn't budge, she turned around to me, pushing some of her hair out of her face. "What?" She asked, laughing a little bit.

"Nothing." I replied. It was hard to keep a smile off my face.

"No it's something."

"It's alright."

".....Okay. Let's go!" She began pulling me back towards the house, I didn't try to stay still this time.

I really would've followed her anywhere.

We got into the house. It was big, modern, spacious, and had lots of natural light pouring in through the big windows and skylights.

She let go of my hand and ran into the open space dining room, the big windows facing a hill that sloped down to a beach. The view from that room was admittedly, amazing.

There was a glass sliding door at the end of the row of windows in the dining room. Willow opened it, and walked outside.

"I thought we were exploring the house." I said to her when I caught up to her.

"We can do that in a second," She took a long breath in through her nose. "Just take this in for a second. I'm so happy we'll be here for a whole week!"

I looked out to the beach. The water was endless. It reminded me of the boiling sea. But not boiling this time. It smelled pleasant, and was always sandy and hot. There were tons of living things in the ocean, and on the beach.

The wind that would blow through from the beach was warm and salty.

Willow turned on her heel and walked back inside. I stayed outside for a few seconds before following. I think this was going to be nice.

All the rooms had very clean, modern, beach vibes to them, but were all spacious and comfortable. And very very bright. I wasn't used to this much natural light. Or sometimes this much light at all.

I mean I sleep in a basement.

And before that I slept in a room with one single window.

And even before that I slept in the ground.

...

"I CALL THIS ROOM!" Someone yelled from across the house. I think it was that one other girl that came with us, I already forgot her name. Not that I expected her to know or remember mine.

I walked over to the room she called. It was a big room with two big windows on either side, with a large closet door, a TV and a pretty good sized bed pushed up against one of the walls.
