After we got home after scuba diving, Jack, Chasity, Ryan, Hunter and I sat down on the deck and played a card game called Spoons.

It was a silly game, and we all got really competitive- or maybe it was just me. 

I'm pretty sure the night ended in Hunter having to stop me from fighting Ryan. But no one needed to remember that. It didn't matter.

Afterwards, everyone cleaned up and went to their rooms. 

I blinked at myself in the mirror, brushing my teeth in the small bathroom that was connected to my room. 

Once I got into my pajamas, I quickly combed my hair - it was nice not to have to brush it all out since I cut it short. Such a time saver if you ask me.

Although I never minded brushing through my hair. I actually found it relaxing.

Then I decided to stop by Hunter's room to say goodnight.

When I stopped in the doorway, Hunter was sitting on his bed, scrolling through something on his phone. 

I had never seen him so invested in his phone before. 

He glanced at me and smiled. "Hi."

I walked over and sat next to him. "Hey. Still looking at sharks?"

He held his phone screen up to me with a nod. On the screen there was a picture of a very smiley looking shark.

"Cute!"

"I know! He's just so.." He tried to mimic the smiley expression of the shark. He ended up just making this adorable toothy grin. 

It was the sort of smile that makes you fall in love all over again.

So I just leaned over slightly and gave him a quick kiss. I didn't wanna distract him from his very important internet surfing.

He set his phone down next to him, turning it off and kissing me back.

I kissed him for a second, before pulling away and giving him a questioning look.

"Hunter, did you brush your teeth with kids bubble gum toothpaste?"

He didn't speak for a second, glancing around awkwardly. "No?"

I arched my eyebrow slightly. 

"Don't lie to me, I can literally  taste it."

"Well it tastes better than the mint stuff." 

"Alright well if the children's toothpaste makes you happy then keep on using it."

"I will. Because it's good. ...... Are you.. still going to kiss me if I do?"

"That's a silly question." I said, going back to kiss him again.

I woke up to the sound of light rain pounding on the windows, and the grayish light that fell through them.

"I strongly dislike you." I heard Hunter say. 

I opened my eyes and turned over once. Hunter was sitting up next to me, and Ryan was standing in the doorway.

I was getting deja-vu from yesterday morning.

"Look, just because you want to sleep in doesn't mean you can. It's almost one and you can get your lazy butt outta bed." Ryan argued dully.

"Strong dislike." Hunter repeated.

I sat up and yawned, leaning against Hunter's shoulder lightly. "What's happening?"
