They tell me to write brighter
why not write something that brings joy to someone
that is not what comes from my soul
I write whatever is hiding deep inside
whatever needs to be let out
the lost child
the abandoned heart
the lonely mind
I write for the darkness
for sunsets
and sunrises
I write to heal
and most of all
I write so that no one feels alone
