Who came up with the term missing
Was it a woman or a man
Did they feel a deep ache and gasp for air as they lost and felt a foreign word on their tongue, missing
Did they repeat it until it became part of their vocabulary
And instead of saying
"You tear a hole inside me, my heart beats so fast, I can't think of anything but your eyes and how much I wish you were here when they're gone"
They say
"I miss you"
Three words that house a deeper meaning, a phrase I now know very well
