I want a bookstore kind of love

a dancing in the rain

singing loudly to throwback songs

jumping in the ocean kind of love

I want the love where you hold on tight and don't want to let go

I want late night talks

and calls from when you have a nightmare

I want arms encasing me that don't make me feel trapped

but the opposite

protected

I want a love where I can tell you my secrets

my vulnerabilities

where I can tell you all the places I hurt and you just listen

and remind me that I matter

and that we are in this together

but most of all that I am not alone
