I can't imagine if you hadn't stopped by and told me how you felt, where I would be right now
Would I be moving about numbly?
Would I be overcome with a sadness that took many months to dissipate?
I know for certain I wouldn't be as happy as I am
Even with the struggles of everyday life, just knowing that you're here for me
It means the absolute world to me
Knowing that I have someone who wants to be my other half, who respects and listens to me
Who genuinely wants to know me
Not my flesh
me
And I wouldn't trade that for anything
