When I was in seventh grade I had many guy friends. The girls at my school had nothing in common with me and we never really got along, so I ended up being friends with a lot of guys. Guys that other girls happen to have crushes on.
So our formal came along and I wasn't looking for a date, I just planned on going alone and hanging around.
But anyway this girl and her group started following me around school and calling me a 'slut' and a 'whore' because the guy she liked declined her. Well, the guy happens to be my best friend, and she thought that he wanted to go with me. (Not true, he actually hated this girl and had a crush on a soccer player in our school.)
So after weeks of 'slut' and 'bitch' being waved in my face, I'd had enough. I ended up going to the formal (with another date, just to show that they're wasting their time) and having a lot of fun and forgetting them. I believe the girls left early because they were 'bored' and 'uninterested.'
