"woah, fernando! hello, and you're very welcome for the ride," juan scrunched his nose, looking at his best friend that just climbed into the passenger's seat.
fernando looked straight forward as juan drove away from the airport. he hadn't looked over at him since he got in the car.
"already jittery?" his teammate asked, eyes shifting off the road.
"is it that obvious?" fernando returned with a frown.
"no. you just seem aloof," juan lied. he could see fernando's legs bouncing and palms sweating.
"to be honest, i think i'm gonna barf."
"window and exits are to your right. do not aim left. i repeat, derecho!" he pointed to the window.
"i got it," fernando laughed.
"aye, i'm serious," juan stated, his eyes peeking out from under his sunglasses, "this is a rental car."
