serena had her head buried into her stack of throw pillows on the couch. it felt like the entire world hated her right now. and she knew she deserved it.
she should be at dinner on the diamond right now, with fernando. but she was in no state, let alone good graces... to be there with the front office, or even with her boyfriend who wasn't speaking with her.
the girl hadn't shown up to work in a couple days. at least wade kendall was able to do his job now without serena being a pest about it. she knew for a fact after her scene, the front office was extremely unhappy with her. peter texted her a lengthy message informing her how disappointed he was in her.
fernando wasn't returning any of her calls after he walked in on her calling billy eppler. serena dug her own grave. it was a sneaky thing to do, and he had every reason to be pissed off with her. she was pissed off with herself too.
but now? there was no going back. she had a job interview in new york. and she left tomorrow night.
suddenly, a dark shadow crossed her side windows out of the corner of her eye. serena's head abruptly perked up from under her mountain of blankets. the aspect of all the insane crackheads in downtown san diego at night possibly walking outside her window was never settling.
