Part 2 of 'I Don't Want To Go To Prom'

Stiles woke up to a bunch of people talking, he felt himself panic a little as he shook Derek awake.

"Hmm?" Derek yawned.

"You said nobody was going to be home today."

Derek rubbed his face and listened for a moment before he finally heard the noise from downstairs. "I didn't think they would be."

"What do I do?"

Derek sat up. "Come downstairs and have breakfast with me?" He laughed.

"Are you sure?"

Derek nodded. "Come on, I'm right here." He said getting up holding out his hand.

Stiles sighed but grabbed ahold of the others hand and allowed himself to be led downstairs.

"Morning mom." Derek said as they made their way into the kitchen.

"Morning honey." She looked up. "Stiles?"

Stiles smiled and waved.

"He's my boyfriend. He's having breakfast with us." Derek said.

Talia nodded. "Okay."

Cora came out shortly after giving Stiles a look before looking at Derek who was sitting next to him.

"What?" Derek asked around a mouth full of pancakes.

"Why are you here?" She looked at Stiles.

Stiles turned toward Derek, seeing him roll his eyes. "We're dating." Derek said.

Cora laughed. "Since when?"

"Six-ish months ago." Stiles finally spoke up.

"Ex-fucking-cuse me?"

"Cora." Talia snapped, glaring at her daughter.

"Sorry." She said walking over toward Derek. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!?" She yelled repeatedly hitting him in the arm.

"CORA." Derek snapped after a few hits. "Jesus, we didn't tell anyone."

"But..."

"He showed up at Prom last night." Stiles smiled.

"WHAT?"

Derek snorted. "I told you to go. You should've listened to me."

--

"It wasn't that bad." Stiles said through the phone.

Derek laughed. "You were all worried and the only thing that happened was them ganging up on me."

"Well, they're your parents. Not mine."

"I know, Cora brought it up again after you left."

Stiles sighed. "What'd she say?"

"She hit me." Derek laughed. "Then she told me that if I hurt you she'll gut me."

Stiles laughed. "Good."

--

"What the hell?" Scott asked in school on Monday morning.

"What?"

Scott glared at Stiles. "You didn't tell me you were dating someone!"

"You're not wrong there..."

"And Derek Hale? You're dating Cora's brother?"

"Is that a problem?"

Scott shook his head. "But, doesn't she hate you now?"
