Kushagra's POV

I came out at the breakfast table searching for her.

She would be feeling awkward after out morning incident.

It was not new for me but for her it was.

She came out of her room lost deep in her thoughts.

She did not notice my presence and just sat on her chair.

I too sat beside her and look at her. She must have sensed my gaze because she turned to me.

I gave her a smile and she smiled back. 

After our breakfast she speaks.

"Mumma mai park jaa rhi hu thodi der."

(I am going to park for some time.)

"Bua mai bhi."

(Bua me too.)

Ruhan jumped in and she ruffled his hair.

"Chal bandar."

(Come monkey.)

I smile seeing their bond. She has always been good with kids. 

My smile started to fall.

No! Don't go there Kushagra!

"Beta tum bhi saath chale jaao. Rohit hai nhi warna wo chala jaata."

(You also go with them. Rohit is not here otherwise he would have gone.)

Papaji ask me and I look at Maira. She shrugs at me and I nod at papaji.

She goes out to call the driver.

"Yayy! Bua aur fufu dono saath chalenge."

(Bua and fufu will go together.)

Ruhan scream in excitement.

Thank God he didn't say it in front of her.

I smile at him and pick him in my arms.

We go out and sit in the car.

The three if us were sitting on the backseat with Ruhan between us.

He was busy playing Candy Crush on Maira's phone.

"Hum ek dusre ko kaise jaante the?"

(How did we know each other?)

She suddenly asked. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow questioningly.

"What was our relationship? Mujhe aapke saath kuch memories yaad aa rhi hai. Unse ye toh pata chal rha hai ki we knew each other lekin kaise ye samajh nhi aa rha."

(I am remembering some memories with you. I can understand we knew each other but how I don't know.)

I look at her surprised.

She is remembering things. How much does she remember?

"Aap mere boyfriend the kya?"

(Were you my boyfriend?)

She asks and then close her eyes immediately regretting it. I chuckle slightly.

This girl is just too cute.

"Sorry! I didn't mean it that way."

She mumbled and started looking out of the window. I know she was feeling weird.
