Sanjana's POV

I try to control my tears as he tells me everything from the start.

I feel like killing myself. Only if I had let him speak that time. Only if I had listened to him.

We would have been happy and together today.

"Trust me Sanjana. Bhut pyaar karta hu mai tumse. Bas ek galti hui mujhse. Mujhe kabhi uss challenge ke liye haan nhi krni chahiye thi. But I swear hamare beech jo kuch bhi tha it was real."

(I love you a lot. I just made one mistake. I shouldn't have said yes for the challenge.)

He said looking deep into my eyes and a tear fell down my eye.

I wiped it quickly.

"I need a moment."

I say and got up. I run to the washroom and cry.

Why did I not listen to him earlier?

I cry for some and wash my face.

My eyes are red. I sigh. He would know in a moment that I had cried.

I went out and sat in front of him quietly.

My head was lowered.

Siddharth's POV

She sat with her head lowered.

I kept looking at her for some time.

I got up and sat beside her.

Cupping her face I made her look up.

I knew it! She had cried.

"Kyu roi thi?"

(Why did you cry?)

She looked away and did not answer.

"Sanjana?"

I called her softly and her tears poured down again. She hugged me and hid her face in my chest. 

I was shocked but held her carefully.

The staff looked at us worried. I assured them that it was alright.

"Sanjana?"

I tried to pull back but she held me tightly and mumbled while sniffing.

"I am sorry. Mujhe tumhari baat sunni chahiye thi. It was all because of me we had to-I don't deserve you Siddharth. I-"

(I should have listened to you.)

I kept my finger on her lips and shushed her.

"Shh. You don't decide what I deserve and what not. Mujhe tum chahiye ho aur sirf tum. I don't care about anything else."

(I want only you.)

She hugs me again and we stay in each other's embrace for some time.

She had stopped crying now. 

"Sanjana?"

She hummed.

"Please say it."

I asked in a desperate voice. She looked at me and asked.

"Say what?"

"You know what."

I say looking into her eyes and she smiled.

She leaned in and kissed my cheek.

"I love you."

She whispered in my ear and I closed my eyes smiling. It feels so good to hear this after so long.
