Vanya's POV

It had been almost a week since that night.

Everything was normal at home. 

Yesterday I met Kanav.

I received Kanav's call and internally freaked out.

Taking a deep breath I picked up his call.

"Hello?"

"Hi. Vanya. Abhi free ho kya? I wanted to meet."

(Are you free?)

Shit! Did he find out?

"Abhi? Kis liye?"

(Now? Why?)

"Mai aaj raat ko Bangalore wapas jaa rha hu. Aur kuch batana bhi tha."

(I am going to Bangalore tonight. And I wanted to tell something.)

He sounded low. 

"Bangalore?"

He hummed and told me to meet him in a nearby cafe.

Why was he going back to Bangalore?

I took my car keys and went to meet him.

He was sitting there with a dejected look.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"Tum bhut sad lag rhe ho."

(You look sad.)

He smiled weakly and said.

"Bhut miss karunga tum sab ko."

(I will miss you guys a lot.)

"Toh kyu jaa rhe ho?"

(Then why are you leaving.)

I didn't want him to leave.

"Kaam hai. Hamesha ke liye nhi jaa rha. Ek saal lagega to shift the entire business to Delhi. Phir hamesha ke liye yaha aa jaaunga."

(Work. I am not going forever. It will take one year. Then I will be back to Delhi permanently.)

He said and was about to hold my hand but stopped.

He closed his eyes and gulped.

"Mujhe ek cheez aur batani thi tumhe."

(I wanted to tell something.)

He says in a scared and low voice and I nod.

"Wo reunion wali raat-"

(Reunion's night-)

I felt my breath stuck. No! 

He closes his eyes and says.

"I-I slept with someone that night."

I look at him wide eyed. Does he remember?

He looks at me and then looks away.

"Please don't look at me like that. I already want to kill myself."

"Tumhe yaad hai wo kaun thi?"

(You remember who it was?)

He shook his head and I sighed in relief.

I looked down not knowing what to say.

"Kuch bolo please!"

(Say something!)
