This is a gory horror one I wrote for school so ya know if you don't wanna be creeped out and maybe potentially sad, don't read this one!!

"Hello?" she called when the familiar form appeared by the curtain. That was The Figure's spot. The Figure loved that place. The girl had seen The Figure a few times before. This time, the air was thicker; she had to say something.
Of course, there was no response. The girl rubbed her arms, goosebumps rising on her pale skin. She would always feel like she was in a horror movie whenever The Figure would appear.
The girl could make out the long dark hair of The Figure. Sometimes, she would even see The Figure's hand. It looked almost human—only it was covered in serpentine scales. The sharp nails were always painted black. The paint would be chipped; she knew it was because The Figure was always scratching the walls of her room.
"What's your name?" she asked The Figure. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest. Thump thump thump. She could feel the cold sweat on her skin. She could smell something metallic and cold. It was like the blade of a knife.
There was no response, but she could see The Figure move. The moonlight illuminated the face.
Her heart was beating faster. Sharper. Thump! Thump! Thump! It was hard to breathe. She looked at The Figure. There were no eyes. Blood was pouring down the face. The Figure smiled. Sharp white teeth. Fangs.
She couldn't breathe. She was frozen in place. The metallic smell was stronger now. She could taste it; she didn't have to breathe to feel it. It seeped through her like water through a sieve.
"What are you?" she asked. Her voice was hoarse, as if she hadn't taken a sip of water in years.
The Figure only smiled. Blood dripped down the thin lips. A forked tongue darted out, lapping up the red liquid. The fangs became red. Like a lion's mouth after tearing a gazelle apart limb from limb. Like a serpent's mouth when sinking its fangs into a bird.
She was the bird. The Figure knew it; she knew it.
The Figure stepped forward, Her entire body in the light now. She was wearing a white gown that contrasted with Her serpentine skin.
The girl's heart was beating erratically. Thu-thump! Thu-thump! She could hear it in her ears. Hot blood rushing.
The Figure stepped forward once more, moving closer. She smiled, Her blood-stained fangs gleaming in the light of the full moon.
"Please," the girl whispered, but even she knew her words fell on deaf ears.
"It's time," She said, Her voice gravelly. Like nails on a chalkboard.
The girl screamed once. That was all she could do, for before the second scream could come, She had sunken Her sharp teeth deep into the girl's throat. A soft gurgling cry of help was the last sound she would ever make.
As for The Figure, She enjoyed her meal before carving Her name beside the dead girl's body. All they would know is that Kiyo had struck again.
