A month later Kai, Natasha and Clint walked around Diagon Alley collecting all of Kai's school materials.
" So where I'm I staying?" Kai asked.
" A place called the Leaky Cauldron. And by the name alone, I think it's going to be a classy place." Clint told her as they walked into a book store.
Kai looked down at her list of supplies she needs.
" Okay what do we need here?" Nat asked.

" Uhh the big book of monsters, which I think are over there-" Kai stopped dead in her tracks.
In a cage were books that had teeth and were biting the bars of the cage.
" What the hell kind of school are you going to?" Clint asked.
" Okay we're probably going to need assistance. Uh Clint go ask for some help, me and Kai are going to the pet store." Nat grabbed Kai's hand and pulled her out of the store quickly.

Kai chuckled at the glimpse she got at Clint's face as they rushed out.
" So what pet should I get?" Kai asked.
" Well owls can deliver letters and since that's going be our only form of communication the next couple months, we're getting that." Nat told her as they walked into the pet store.
" Oh yes mother." Kai teased.
" Cool it youngling. I need to hear from you at least once every two weeks okay?" Nat told her.
" I promise. Look Nat I'm nervous to be away from you too. Your the only safe place I know." Kai looked at her.

" You need to be careful. I can't lose you. So here are some ground rules." Nat started.
" Ugh now you are acting like a mom." Kai groaned.
" Listen to my Kai. One, no fighting. At all, I don't even want verbal fighting. You can not-listen to me Kai-you cannot punch someone in the face for being annoying. Okay two, don't be a show off, that's all I have to say on that one. Three take your classes seriously, do your best okay. And four and this might be the most important one, have fun and make friends. Just not too much fun." Nat explained to her.

" I got it all under control Natty." Kai nodded.
" Mhm okay sure. Let's get your owl and find Clint." Nat pushed her towards the cages of owls.

After about five minutes Kai chose her owl. He was midnight black and had striking ocean blue eyes. Her name was Leia, yes from StarWars. But hey Kai loved those movies, they were the first movies she ever saw in her entire life. They paid and walked out with Leia in her cage and saw a disheveled Clint holding a monster book with a leather strapped wrapped around it.

" I'm going to kick your ass." Clint looked at Nat.
" I'd like to see you try." Nat smirked.
" Clint look at my owl." Kai held up the cage.
" Cute, what's its name?" Clint asked.
" Leia." Kai told him.
" Kickass name." Clint nodded in approval.
Take a guess on who showed Kai those movies.
" Alright Kai what else do we need?" Nat asked.
" Uhhh nothing. We did it." Kai smiled as she looked up from the letter in her hands.

" Correction. We need food." Clint said.
" I agree." Nat nodded.
" Okay, uh to The Leaky Cauldron then." Kai said.

The next morning was the day Kai had been anticipating, September 1st. Clint and Nat had left last night, needing to get back to the states for their missions. So Kai was on her own.

She walked down the stairs from her room into the bar.
" Good morning Tom." Kai smiled at the bartender/inn owner she meet last night.
" Good morning Kai. Would you like some breakfast?" Tom smiled back.
" Oh please." Kai nodded.
" How about an eyeball omelet?" Tom asked.
" Oh um-I-" Kai started.
" Just kidding I'll make you waffles." Tom laughed.

Kai chuckled.
" Oh shit. I'll be right back Tom." Kai told him as she rushed back up stairs.
She opened her door to her room and walked in. Kai walked to her bed and put on her leather jacket, grabbed some money and put on her bracelet. The bracket had a pointe shoe pendant on it, Nat gave it her years ago and even had a matching one. Kai loves it more than any other of her possessions.

She walked back out of her room, closing the door behind her and walked back downstairs. This time she heard loud bickering.
" My cat did not try to eat your rat Ronald." A girl's voice said.
" Yes it did!" A boy's voice said back.
" Harry!" The girls voice squeaked.
" Harry!" The boy's voice followed.
Kai walked to the stairs and stopped as she looked down.

She saw three kids her age. A girl with brown bushy hair holding a cat, a red headed boy holding a rat and him. He had brown hair, round glasses and green eyes. Kai felt a feeling erupt in her stomach that she had never experienced in her life. She shook her head of this thoughts and walked back down to her seat at the bar.

" Perfect timing Kai. Here's your breakfast." Tom put a plate of waffles in front of her.
" Thanks Tom. Oh here." Kai tried giving him the money.
" Oh no, no. It's on the house." Tom waved her off.
" Are you sure?" Kai asked.
" Of course. Have a good first year at Hogwarts, and back and visit." Tom told her.
" Will do thank you." Kai said.
He gave her a nod before walking down the take the order of others entering the pub.

Kai ate her waffles quickly and she turned to looked at what the current situation was with the large family of red heads was. That's when it happened, her and the greened eyed boy made dead eye connect. Kai felt her breath get stuck in her throat, and he didn't once take his eyes off her.

However her eyes did shift to slightly behind him. Where she noticed a moving photo, it was a wanted poster. Kai furrowed her eyebrows and stood up and started walking closer to the pillar where the poster was hung to read it better.

Harry felt his cheeks heat up and his heart started beating out of his chest. She was walking towards him. This beautiful stranger was walking towards him, what was he suppose to say? Oh Merlin Harry was never too good with girls. As she closer Harry quickly prepared an opening line, which was just hello. He thought that'd be good.

However Kai brushed right past him and Harry hesitated. What had happened? He turned and saw her studying the wanted poster Sirius Black closely. The person that had betrayed his parents and was now after him. He had never seen this girl before, and he was sure he would have noticed her before. She must be new, and probably uneasy about a killer running around in an unfamiliar world, Harry concluded. He shall ease her mind, he is the chosen one after all.

Kai looked at the picture of the obviously crazy man. Sirius Black, hm. Dumbledore had briefly mentioned that her true heritage was from the Black family. Just looking at the photo made knots tie in her stomach. Kai was blessed was insatiable gut instincts, and this man she felt would either be extremely important or troublesome in her life. Just which was it?

" Sirius Black. He's been locked in Azkaban for twelve years. First ever to escape." A voice told her from behind.
Kai turned around and saw the boy she made eye contact with.
" Azkaban?" Kai asked.
" Wizard prison." He explained.
Kai nodded and turned back to look at the poster.

" Don't worry he won't get to Hogwarts. His not going to hurt anyone. Not while Dumbledore's around." Harry said.
" Seems this place has a lot of faith in Dumbledore." Kai observed.
" Well he's just the greatest wizard to ever live." Harry almost scoffed.
Kai just nodded. Harry gulped, this is the worst part.
" I'm Harry. Harry Potter." Harry placed his hand out.

" Kai Romanoff." Kai shook his hand.
Kai looked over his face and noticed the scar. Here it comes, Harry thought.
" You should put some Neosporin on that. Works a dream." Kai told him.
" I-uh what? You're not going to freak out? Do you not know who I am?" Harry asked.
" Your Harry Potter you just told me." Kai said confused.

Harry was flabbergasted, but also it felt refreshing.
" Okay, uh I have to go. See you later Harry Potter." Kai nodded before walking upstairs to retrieve her stuff.
" Bye Kai Romanoff." Harry said in a soft voice.
