Kai and Clint waited and listened for Nat to give them a sign.
" Hey-we're not going to stop until Nat is back with us okay." Clint told her.
" I know." Kai nodded.
" What's wrong?" Clint finally asked.
" What do you mean? Nat's missing I'm upset." Kai told him.
" No, you've been not okay for awhile." Clint said.

Kai hesitated before answering.
" I don't want to go back to school in September. I just want to stay with you and Nat and focus all of my time and attention on being an Avenger." Kai admitted.
" You mean you don't want to see Harry again." Clint cut the bullshit.
" Well-uh yeah. That too." Kai nodded.
" You can't him be the reason you don't go back. You have a whole life over there." Clint said.
" He was my whole life over there." Kai told him.

" I can't for even a second believe that's true. What about you're friends? Or your biological family members?" Clint asked.
" I have no biological family. Sirius is dead." Kai shook her head.
" What about your cousin? Uh Dracko." Clint said.
" It's Draco. And he'll be fine without me." Kai said.
" I really think you need to give it another shot kid. And if you still hate it, you can come back anytime." Clint tried reasoning.
" I don't-" Kai started.
" You still have two months to decide. Just think about it. Okay?" Clint asked.

Kai looked up at him and nodded. He gave her a small smile. Then they heard a small buzzing coming from the headset. Clint listened to it for a second and a genuine smile graced his lips.
" We've got her." Clint told her.
Kai felt a huge weight being lifted off her shoulders and her heart.
" I'll go tell Stark and Bruce." Kai said getting up.

Kai rushed up the stairs just as Steve, Wanda and Pietro walked in.
" I'm going to say this once." Steve started.
" How about none-ce?" Tony said back.
" Shut it down!" Steve told them.
" Nope, not gonna happen." Tony said.
" Wait what's going on?" Kai asked.
" You don't know what you're doing." Steve told them.
" And you do? She's not in your head?" Bruce asked.

" I know you're angry." Wanda said.
" Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade." Bruce told her.
" Jesus-that was a bit too much." Kai said.
" Banner after everything that's happened-" Steve started.
" It's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony interrupted.
" You don't know what's in there." Wanda said.
" This isn't a game." Steve told them.

Then Pietro ran around the room in a second unplugging everything.
" No, no. Go on. What were you saying?" Pietro asked.
Before anyone could say anything else a bullet shot through the glass Pietro was standing on and her fell to the next floor.
" What? You didn't see that coming?" Clint asked.
" I'm rerouting the upload." Tony said.
But Steve threw his shield cutting all the wires. Tony grabbed his iron man fist and blasted Steve back. Then Bruce grabbed Wanda and put her in a choke hold

Kai just looked around unsure who everything got so dramatic in a matter of seconds. Then Wanda blasted Bruce back and Thor flew in the room.
" Good-a voice of reason-oh No he's lighting up the cradle." Kai commented as Thor used lightning to full the cradle.

There was a moment of silence before the cradle exploded sending Thor back and an all red man with a yellow stone in his head jumped out. He looked around at everyone and everyone stared back at him. Then he lunged at Thor and Thor threw him over his shoulder. The man stopped in front of the window, looking, and studying himself. Everyone ran to the other floor were Thor and the man were. Steve wanted to attack but Thor silently told him to wait.

After a second the man grew clothes and joined them.
" I'm sorry that was-odd. Thank you." The man told Thor before adding a cape to his outfit.
" Thor-you helped create this?" Steve asked.
" I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its center is that." Thor pointed to the red man's head.
" What? The gem?" Bruce asked.
" It's the mid stone. It's one of the six infinity stones. The greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." Thor explained.
" Then why would you bring-" Steve started.
" Because Stark is right." Thor said.

" Oh it's definitely the end times." Bruce said.
" Good job pal, knew you'd be right one day." Kai nodded at Tony.
" The Avengers cannot beat Ultron." Thor said.
" Not alone." The red man said.
" Why does you're vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked.
" We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix, to create something new." Tony explained.

" I think I've had my fill of new." Steve sighed.
" You think in a child of Ultron." The red man observed.
" You're not?" Steve asked.
" I'm not Ultron. I am not Jarvis-I am-" He trailed off.
" I looked inside your head, and I saw annihilation." Wanda said.
" Look again." He told her.
" Her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint scoffed.

" He's telling the truth." Kai said using her natural gift in occumency and her little knowledge about it from when Harry had lessons.
" Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself came from the mind stone. And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. Now even one of own says The Vision is telling the truth. With it on are side-" Thor told them.
" Is it? Are you? On our side?" Steve asked.

" I don't think it's that's simple." The man said.
" Well it better get real simple real soon." Clint said.
" I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all." He told them.
" What is he waiting for?" Tony asked.
" You." The man said.
" Where?" Bruce asked.
" Sokovia." Clint said.
" He has Nat there too." Kai added.

" If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster Ultron made you to be." Bruce started.
" What will you do?" The red man asked.
Everyone stayed silent.
" I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth. So, he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So, there may be no way for you to trust me. But we need to go." He said walking around, then picking up Thor's hammer and handed it to him.

Everyone eyes widen as Thor took it. The man walked off and everyone looked at one another.
" Right. Well done." Thor patted Tony's shoulder than walked off.
" Three minutes. Get what you need." Steve instructed.

Kai stuffed every last pocket, sleeve and boot with daggers. She loaded up her thigh and chest holsters to the max with hand guns and bullets. She felt a little tingle felling in her brain.

" It was cute the first time, but if you try and enter my mind again I'll kick your ass." Kai said pushing Wanda out her head.
" You seem very calm to be going into this battle." Wanda observed.
" When you've been fighting your whole life, you'll be calm too." Kai told her.
" I've been fighting since I was ten." Wanda told her.
" And now you're nineteen?" Kai asked finally turning to face her.
Wanda just nodded.
" Better catch up then." Kai scoffed before walking past her.

" Whoever is making you so sad-they don't deserve your sadness. You are too pretty to be depressed." Wanda told her not meeting her gaze.
Kai felt a natural smirk beginning to start.
" Now I really hope we survive this." Kai said before fully leaving.
