Kai walked down the street towards 12 Grimmuald Place. She stopped in the middle of apartment 11 and 13. Kai looked around her to make sure no one saw her and pulled her wand out. She bent down and tapped the ground three times with her wand. The building started to spilt and Kai picked up her trunk and headed towards the Manor.

" Alahomroa." Kai whispered and the door unlocked.
She walked in and an apparition of Dumbledore came hurtling towards her. Kai just cover her face so dust wouldn't get in it. Then she closed the door and walked further into the house. It looked even worse than when she was here last time, back when this was headquarters.
" Krecher!" Kai called as she is walked up the stairs towards her dads room.

" Mistress?" A voice croaked.
Kai followed the voice to the tapestry room where Krecher was cleaning.
" Krecher." Kai smiled.
" You came back, mistress." Krecher said almost as he couldn't believe it.
" Yes I have, I'm sorry I was gone so long." Kai apologized bending down to his level.
" How long are you staying?" Krecher asked.
" Just the night. But I'll be back a few days before break is over." Kai told him.

" I shall the Manor spotless when you come back." Krecher told her.
" Thank you, Krecher." Kai said knowing she be insulting him if she said to take a break.
" Of course, I live to serve the Noble House of Black." Krecher bowed before leaving the room.
Kai stood back to her full height and looked at the tapestry. Her fingers gently tracing her fathers face and then the burn mark that use to be Sirius.

She remembered what her dad had wrote in one of his entries. No one know what is was to be apart of this family, but the ones who did knew it all too well.
" I think I'm starting to understand." Kai whispered to herself looking at the tapestry.
She picked up her trunk and made her way towards her dads room. She opened the door and walked in.

Kai sat down her trunk and went for the trunk on the side of the room. She sat down in front of it and opened it. She pulled out all the old Slytherin clothes and opened letters until she found the last black book. This one was bigger than the others, which didn't make any sense, because this was the last two years of his life.

" Tea and biscuits mistress?" Krecher asked her from the doorway.
" Yes thank you." Kai looked over her shoulder at him.
Krecher brought the tray to her and started pouring her a cup of tea.
" I'm going to make this all better." Kai looked around at the run down room.

" I won't let this place be this symbol of darkness anymore." Kai shook her head.
" If anyone could do it, it's you mistress." Krecher handed her a cup.
Kai smiled at him as she accepted the tea and gave him a pat on the head

Kai opened the car door and stepped out into the cold Manhattan air. Happy had picked her up from the airport. She looked at the compound and smiled. Suddenly a snowball hit her on the arm. Kai turned and saw Wanda smirking at her.

" Oh you're dead." Kai called to her and bent down to the ground and grabbed some snow.
Wanda laughed and started running while Kai balled up the snow. Kai started running after her and threw her own snowball. It crashed on Wanda's back and she squealed. She turned around and flick her hand, and about ten snowballs headed towards Kai.
" Oh shit." Kai tried dodging all the snowballs.

Wanda laughed as she watched Kai.
" I win." Wanda smiled.
" Yeah, yeah only cause you're a freak." Kai shook the snow off her jacket.
" Should we train in the snow today?" Steve asked as he walked out of the glass sliding door.
" No." Kai said.
" Come on Kai, it would be fun." Steve ruffled her hair.
" I've come home to relax." Kai pushed his hand away and fixed her hair.

" No training?" Steve asked shocked.
" Of course we'll train just not in the freezing cold." Kai said walking inside the compound.
Wanda threw a snowball at Steve and smirked. He looked at her and raised his eyebrow before bending down to make one.
" Kai!" Cedric cheered as he walked around the corner.
" Ceddy!" Kai smiled.
Cedric opened his arms and approached her. They hugged each other tightly.
" I'm surprised you are aren't already home." Kai said as they pulled away.

" Actually I'm staying here for holiday." Cedric told her.
" Really? You sure your parents won't come all the way down here just to drag you to London?" Kai asked.
" They are actually going skiing in Finland, with the Abbots." Cedric widen his eyes.
" Oh the future in-laws." Kai smirked.
" No not the future in-laws that's the problem." Cedric told her.

They started walking into the living room where Kai's trunk was sitting.
" Parents still don't know about the Muggle, Victoria Secret model huh?" Kai picked up her trunk and they started up to her room.
" It's not like me and Tiffany are super serious." Cedric rolled his eyes.
" You still need to tell your parents that there is no way you are going to marry Diana Abbot. You are leading them and that poor girl on." Kai told him.

" I never even went on a real date with her. We just spend holidays together, because of our parents." Cedric defended as they got to Kai's room.
" Haven't you two been engaged since you were like two?" Kai asked opening her door and walking in.
" Not engaged. Our parents just always talked about us getting married one day. That's why I made it my life's mission to never be single during school." Cedric followed her in.

" Speaking of, you'll never guess who Cho was dating at the beginning of this year." Kai flopped down on her bed.
" If you say who I think, I'm going to throw up." Cedric sat next to her.
" There's the bathroom." Kai pointed to her private bathroom.
" No!" Cedric gasped.
" Mmhm, Cho and Harry were dating." Kai nodded.

" That is actually disgusting." Cedric cringed.
" Everyone was relieved when they broke up." Kai said.
" I'm sorry you had to see that." Cedric told her.
" It's okay. Oh and do I have the story for you and Wands later. But anyways how did Diana take the news that you wouldn't be joining them?" Kai asked getting back to their original conversation.
" Ugh she wrote me saying how disappointed she was that we wouldn't be able to hang out, but said she understood that I had to work." Cedric told her.
Kai opened her mouth to respond but a knock at the door interrupted her.

" Come in!" Kai called.
" I was wondering if I could see my детеныш." Nat opened the door.
" Natty!" Kai jumped up and into her arms.
Nat wrapped her arms around Kai tightly and Kai matched her force.
" I missed you." Nat told her.
" I missed you so much more." Kai practically buried her face in Nat's shoulder.

Nat and Cedric made eye connect as he slipped out. He gave her an understanding nod, and Nat gave him one. Cedric lightly shut the door behind him leaving the two alone.

" Come on, let's talk about it." Nat stroked her hair.
