Kai Romanoff

After successfully stealing the identity of three ministry workers the group looked at themselves in the window of a shop. Kai pulled down her pencil skirt and adjusted her blouse. She was posing as Bianca Greengrass, Daphne's mother.
"Ya know I feel like we're the Scooby gang when we do all these wacky operations." Kai said.
"The Scooby who?" Ron asked.
"Never mind, let's just go get my locket." Kai told them before walking off.

Hermione and Kai went off one way to the ladies toilets and the boys went off another way. The girls stood in line for a stall and when one opened, Hermione grabbed her and pulled into the same stall.
"We have to flush ourselves down." Hermione told her.
Kai opened her mouth to protest but Hermione beat her too it.
"We have no choice go on." Hermione gestured for her to go first.
"I hate wizards." Kai groaned stepping into the toilet.
Hermione flushed her down and Kai held her breath. When she opened her eyes she was in the Ministry.

"Stupid fucking wizards and their disgusting fucking-" Kai mumbled to herself.
"Not very pureblood of you to be cursing wizard kind." A voice said from beside her.
Kai turned her head and sighed in relief when she saw it was just Harry-or rather Harry in someone else's body.
"Not very pureblood to flush myself down a nasty as toilet." Kai huffed.
"You're cute when you're angry, ya know?" Harry told her.
"I'm a married woman." Kai gasped in fake offensive.

They walked towards Hermione staring at the new statue in the middle of the ministry.
"Are those-" Harry started.
"Muggles. In their rightful place." Hermione quoted.
"Got to tell you, I'm starting to freak out a bit." Ron joined them.
"How long did you say this polyjuice potion would last?" Harry asked.
"I didn't." Hermione shook her head.
"Come on, we have to find the toad." Kai told them.

They walked towards the elevator and got in. Before the elevator door closed a man stopped it and looked at Ron.
"Cattermole, it's still raining inside my office. That's two days now." The man said.
"Have you tired an umbrella?" Ron asked.
"Do you realize I'm going downstairs, don't you Cattermole?" The man asked.
"Downstairs?" Ron asked.
"To interrogate your wife. Now if my wife's blood status were in doubt and the head of the department of Magic law enforcement needed a job doing, I think I might just make that a priority. You have one hour." The man said letting the door shut.

Ron pushed a button and the elevator started going backwards.
"Oh my god. What I'm I going to do? My wife's alone downstairs." Ron stressed.
"Ron, you don't have a wife." Harry reminded.
"Oh yeah right." Ron said as the elevator stopped.

Ron got off and the three continued.
                         "I say if we don't find Umbridge within the hour, we get Ron and try again another day." Harry said.
                         "We will find her." Kai told them.
Then the elevator dinged again and the toad was standing on the other side of the door.
                         "Ah Mafalda and Bianca. Travers sent you did he? Good. We'll go straight down together. Albert aren't you getting out?" Umbridge stepped into the elevator.
Harry just nodded and stepped out. He looked at Kai and watched as the elevator doors closed. He wasn't scared for her, honestly he was a bit nervous for Umbridge.

     The girls traveled down and Kai and looked at Hermione then at Umbridge and raised her eyebrows. Hermione softly shook her head no, knowing that Kai wanted to jump her right then and there. Kai rolled her eyes as the elevator came to the stop and the doors opened. They followed Umbridge into the courtroom and saw a woman crying sitting in the big chair in the middle of the room. Kai so caught up in the women she followed Hermione straight to her seat.

                               "Greengrass what are you doing? You sit over there!" Umbridge told her.
Kai used all of her self restraint not to sneer and attack the toad. She calmly went to her seat and sat down. The trail started and Kai felt sick for the poor woman. But she couldn't keep her eyes off of her fathers locket around Umbridge's neck. She hadn't seen her put it on but it was clearly on her now.

                                "Reg." The woman said.
They looked at saw Harry and Ron standing in the door way. Harry pushed Ron towards the middle of the room.
                               "Thank you Albert." Umbridge told Harry.
She started grilling the poor women but Kai and Harry just stared at each other, trying to silently and secretly come up with a plan. Kai looked up at the dementors above then back at Harry. He knew what she was thinking. Harry started walking closer and closer to Umbridge keeping his eyes trained on the locket. Kai pulled out her wand from her blazer and got ready.

                             "What on earth are you doing Albert?" Umbridge asked.
                             "You're lying Dolores, and one mustn't tell lies." Harry said as he started Turing back to his real appearance.
He shot Umbridge with a spell and Kai grabbed the locket, now back to her real self. She hurried off the stand, tossing the locket to Harry. Ron and Hermione were still in their polyjuice form and Ron grabbed his "wife's" hand and they ran out, Kai at the back.

    The dementors followed them back couldn't get around Kai, unable to feed off her fear. They got into the elevator and and the door closed but the dementors still tried sucking their souls. Being unaffected Kai took charge.
                           "Expecto Patronum!" Kai shouted and a raven pushed all of the dementors back and the elevator took off.
                           "You're Harry Potter! And you're Kai Romanoff!" Mrs. Cattermole said out of breath.
                           "Yes hello, nice to meet you. No autographs today if you wouldn't mind." Kai joked as the elevator dinged.

                Hermione had changed back and the doors opened to the main level of the Ministry.
                            "Don't run, walk. Keep your heads down." Kai instructed before they got off of the elevator.
Harry grabbed her hand and they started calmly walking through the crowded room. They saw Ron talking to his wife before she kissed him. Right in the middle of the kiss he turned back to his original self. When she pulled away and saw it was not her husband she gasped. And then the real Cattermole walked in and saw them.

   Ron blushed and ran back to his friends. Kai had an amused look on her face until people started calling out her and Harry's name. They started running off just as some Auror's started after them. Yaxley followed closely behind them, shooting spells at them. Still holding Kai's hand Harry threw them inside a fireplace, with Hermione, Ron and Yaxley right behind them. It all happened to fast that Kai got a head rush and closed her eyes.

    When she opens then she was laying on her back in the middle of the woods. She sat up and saw a bloody Ron and a crying Hermione. Kai got up and ran to them.
                              "Quickly in my bag theirs a bottle labeled: essence of dittany." Hermione told her.
Kai grabbed the bag and accioed the bottle than giving it to Hermione who started healing Ron with it.
                             "What happened? I thought we were suppose to be going back to Grimmuald place?" Harry asked joining them.
                             "We were, we were there but Yaxley had ahold of me and I knew once he had seen where we were we couldn't stay, so I brought us here but Ron got splinched." Hermione cried.

     Ron started healing and stopped gasping. Kai sighed and hugged Hermione.
                             "You did the right thing." Kai told her.
                             "But-Grimmuald place-you spent so long redoing it-it's your home." Hermione said.
                             "Kreacher will take care of everything. Besides, I'm real home is with you guys." Kai soothed her.
Hermione nodded then stood up and started placing enchantments around them.
