The group walked towards the cozy house and Kai couldn't help the fond smile as she walked. As they got closer the more and more it looked like this would be Luna Lovegood's home. Confidently Kai walked up the steps and knocked on the front door. The top half opened to reveal Luna's father Xenophilius Lovegood.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Hello sir, my name is Kai Romanoff I'm a friend of Luna's." Kai told him.
His face immediately went from caution to friendly.
"Oh of course, Kai. Luna has told me all about you and your kindness to her. Plus any daughter of Regulus is welcome here. But uh who are the others?" Xenophilius lend in to only talk to Kai.
"Hello sir, we met at the wedding a few months ago, I'm Harry Potter." Harry walked towards him.

Xenophilius eyes widen and he immediately opened the door and rushed them in.
"Sorry for the haste, but with everything going on, can't ever be too careful." Xenophilius shut the blinds.
"Of course sir." Kai nodded.
"Follow me, we can talk in the living room." Xenophilius lead them through his house.
They all sat down on different couches in the living room, except Kai and Harry who like always kept in close contact with each other.
"Tea? I just made some." Xenophilius offered.
"Sure, sure." Harry nodded trying to be polite.

Xenophilius poured them all a cup before sitting back down.
"Where is Luna?" Hermione asked.
"She'll be along. Now how can I help you Mr. Potter?" Xenophilius asked.
"Well actually it was about something you were wearing around your neck at the wedding. It was a symbol." Harry explained.
"You mean this?" Xenophilius asked pulling out the neckless from his shirt.
"Yes, that exactly. What we wondered is, what is it?" Harry asked.
"What is it? Well it's the sign of the deathly hallows. I assume you are all familiar with the tales of the three brothers." Xenophilius said.

"Yes." Hermione and Ron nodded.
"No." Kai and Harry shook their heads.
They all looked strangely at the couple.
"Well excuse us for not reading wizard fairytales we've only been fighting to stay alive since we were children." Kai scoffed.
"I have it here." Hermione pulled out and book and opened it.
She began to read it to them.

"So there you are. Those are the deathly hallows." Xenophilius who was now standing by the window said.
Harry and Kai looked at each other confused.
"I'm sorry sir I still don't understand." Harry said.
Xenophilius searched for a pen and paper and they got up to join him.
"The elder wand. The most powerful wand ever made." He drew a straight line.
Then he drew a circle at the bottom of the line.
"The resurrection stone." He continued.
Lastly he drew a triangle around the entire thing.
"The cloak of invisibility. Together they are the deathly hallows. Together they make one the master of death." Xenophilius explained.

Harry risked a glance at Kai, but she was still starring at the paper deep in thought. He could practically see the wheels turning in her head, she was thinking deeply about something.
"That mark was on a grave in Godric Hallow. Mr. Lovegood does the Peverell family have anything to do with the deathly hallows?" Hermione asked.
"I-uh Ignorus-excuse me and his brothers Cadmus and Antioch are thought to be the original owners of the hallows and therefor the inspiration for the story. Oh your tea's gone cold-I'll fix some more." Xenophilius stumbled over his words and ran back to the kitchen.
"Let's get out of here, I'm not drinking anymore of that stuff hot or cold." Ron picked up his bag.

"I'll have to agree. Something is-off. We better go before we find out what it is." Kai nodded.
They all made their way back downstairs where Xenophilius was staring out a window.
"Thank you sir." Hermione said politely.
He turned around in a panic.
"You forgot the water." Ron told him.
"Water?" Xenophilius asked.
"For the tea." Ron reminded.
"Oh right yes how silly of me." Xenophilius laughed and started to make the tea again.

Kai hit Ron in the stomach for pointing it out.
"It's actually alright. We really need to be going anyways-" Kai started.
"No you can't!" Xenophilius slammed his hands down.
He rushed to the door and stood in front of it.
"Sir?" Harry asked.
"You're my only hope. They were angry you see about what I'd been writing. So they took her, they took my Luna. My Luna. But it's really you they want." Xenophilius approached Harry's and brushed his fingers over his scar.
Kai carefully removed Xenophilius hand from Harry.
"Who took her sir?" Kai asked.
"Voldemort." Xenophilius said.

Right then Kai heard the the sound of the deatheaters swooshing towards the house. Kai pulled Harry down and Hermione screamed. The black smoke destroyed the house as the teens crawled on the floor towards one another. Then they all grabbed hands and apparated out into the middle of the forest.
"That treacherous little bleeder. Is there no one we can trust?" Ron asked angrily.
"They kidnapped her because he supported me. He was just desperate." Harry defended helping Kai up to her feet.
"I'll do the enchantments." Ron sighed as him and Hermione started going off.

"Are you alright?" Harry turned to Kai.
"Fine, but that wand-the elder wand. My dad had mentioned it in his diary. He said that ole mister dark lord is trying to find it." Kai explained.
Harry opened is mouth to say something but was interrupted but a voice. They looked up and saw a group of snatchers surrounding them. Harry without missing a beat grabbed Kai's hand and started running, Hermione and Ron right behind them. They jumped over trees and avoided spells being thrown at them. At one point Harry tripped and fell.

He shouted at Kai to go on, but she didn't, instead she pulled out her gun and shoot the snatcher chasing them twice in the chest. Then pulled Harry back up and started running again. They ran until the saw Hermione and another lot of snatchers in front of her. They couldn't escape them. Hermione hit Harry with a jinx that made him fall back. Kai went to her knees beside him and Hermione ran towards him and did the same.

"I can take them." Kai told Hermione.
"If they were muggles I'd agree besides they have Ron." Hermione whispered back grabbing Harry's glasses and placing them in her pocket.
Harry sat up and looked at Kai.
"You're right, you know who will have the wand by tonight." Harry told Kai.
She looked at him confused for a moment but then realized he must have seen a memory from Voldemort as Hermione jinxed him.
"It's alright, we can still fix this." Kai placed her hand on his now disfigured face.

The snatchers got to them and pulled them away from one another.
"What's your name ugly?" Scabior asked Harry.
"Dudley, Vernon Dudley." Harry told them.
"Check it. And you-oh wow two very beautiful girls. What's your name lovely?" Scabior asked Hermione.
"Penelope Clearwater, half blood." Hermione lied.
"Hmm and you my dove?" Scabior asked brushing his finger over Kai's bottom lip.
"Woah, woah, shouldn't you buy me a drink first?" Kai said a hint of her Russian coming out.
Scabior chuckled and lifted her chin.
"Noah. Noah Zharkov." Kai slipped into her Russian accent.

Scabior chuckled again and got even closer to Kai's face.
"Oh I do love a foreign accent." Scabior smiled.
They heard Harry struggling and Scabior looked at him then at Kai.
"You could do much better than him." Scabior said.
"Boss he's not on the list." One of the snatchers told him.
"You hear that ugly it says you are lying. Hmm-change of plans, we're not taking this lot to the ministry." Scabior looked at Harry's face.
