Kai got redressed in her battle gear and stared out the window in her room. She knew this was going to be a risky mission. Ultron was already powerful and if he creates something even more powerful than himself, they may not be able to stop him. But Kai would be damned if she didn't die trying. She took a deep breath and walked out of her room back into the living room.

She saw Steve and Nat and walked to them.
" Hey." Nat smiled.
" Hi." Kai said eyeing them suspiciously.
They both had the same look on their face.
" So-uh listen kid. Me and Nat think it would be best you stayed with Laura." Steve told her.
" Cute Rogers. I'm going." Kai scoffed.
" Kai, I really think you need to stay. Honestly I think both you and Clint need to stay." Nat said.

" You can't get rid of us that easily." Clint said joining them.
" Yeah. Me and Clint are kinda a packaged deal. And the thing is you guys can't win without us. So let's stop joking around and go." Kai told them before walking out of the house.
Clint just raised his eyebrows and followed.
" She's a tough kid." Steve sighed:
" The toughest. But it's kept her alive this long. Come on Rogers." Nat nodded before walking out.

The Quinjet approached the building, Ultron, the Maximoff twins and Dr. Cho we're in. The dropped Steve off and then started to fly around the city to find Ultron.

Dr. Cho told them about the gem and the cradle.
" You guys got that?" Steve asked.
" Sure did." Clint said.
" I got a private jet taking off across town. No manifest. That could be him." Nat said.
" There. It's a truck from the lab. Right above you Cap, on the loop by the bridge. It's them. You've got three with the cradle one in the cab. I could take out the driver." Clint reported.
" Negative the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron." Steve told them.

A minute later Steve spoke again.
" We'll he's not happy. I'm going to try and keep that way." Steve said.
" You're no match for him Cap." Clint told him.
" Thanks Barton." Steve sighed.
" We've got an opening." Clint told Nat.
Nat got on her motorcycle and dropped onto the highway. Clint and Kai followed from above.

" They are going under a bridge I've got no shot." Clint said.
Kai looked out the window.
" Think you could get me on that roof?" Kai asked studying the city.
" Yeah.." Clint said hesitating.
" Turn the jet completely to the side and open the hatch again." Kai told him.
" Kai-" Clint started.
" Now." Kai said.

He turn the jet to the side and opened the latch. Kai jumped out, free fell for about four seconds and landed onto a roof, immediately throwing herself into a summersault. She started running towards the other side and jumped onto another roof. Soon she saw the truck with Steve and Ultron fighting and Nat behind them on the motorcycle.

She again jumped and landed on top of the truck.
" You miss me?" Kai asked Ultron.
" Not as much as when I kill you." Ultron told her.
" You've got that witty banter just like you're dad." Kai said instantly pissing him off.

He shot and her but she dodged it and pulled out her daggers. She slashed at his chest and scrapped the first layer of his metal. Steve joined her and they started fighting him together. The Quinjet lured out the guards just as Nat got into the truck.

Ultron kicked Kai to the side and tackled Steve onto a bus behind them. Kai stabbed her dagger into the side of the truck and held on tightly. She couldn't help but close her eyes for a second hoping she wouldn't land on the highway. When she peaked down her foot was inches from the road and back tire.

She took a deep breath of relief then reached her arm up to get back on the top of the truck. She grabbed the edge and hosted herself up. Then she walked to the edge where the doors had been broken off. She squatted down grabbed onto the edge and safely lowered herself inside the truck.

" Hey kid." Nat smiled.
" Sup' Red." Kai walked towards her helping her undo the cradle.
After a second Kai looked out the doors and saw they were going up. She rushed to the edge and looked down. Two robots were flying them up.
" Package is airborne I got a shot." Clint told them.
" Negative, me and Kai are still in the truck." Nat told him.
" What are y'all still doing in there?" Clint asked.

" Kai get on the top and hold on." Nat told her.
Kia followed her instructions and sat on the cradle holding the sides. Nat pushed them out of truck and towards the open jet. They had almost made it but one of the robots grabbed Nat's ankle and pulled her out of the jet.

" Nat!" Kai yelled and reached for her.
But it was too late. She felt pressure on her back and realized the cradle was about to fall back out of the jet. Kai turned around and pushed it back in, and tied it down.
" Cap do you have eyes on Nat?" Clint asked.
" If you have the package get it to Stark." Steve told him.
" Do you see Nat?" Kai asked.
" Go!" Steve told them.
" Damn it." Clint said and speeded off.

" What? You have to go back! We have to find her!" Kai said walking up to the front of the jet.
" We have to get this to Stark." Clint told her.
Kai just huffed and and walked away from him.

Clint and Kai successfully, and safely delivered the cradle to Tony and Bruce.
" Any news on Nat?" Bruce asked.
" No. But she's still alive other wise Ultron would be rubbing our noses in it." Tony told him.
" This is sealed tight." Clint said trying to open the cradle.
" We're gonna need to access the program, break it down from within." Bruce said.
" Any chance Natasha might leave you a message out the internet? Old-school spy stuff?" Tony asked.
" There's some bets I can cast. Yeah I can find her." Clint nodded leaving the room.

" Why don't you go with him baby widow?" Tony suggested.
" Why? Tryna get rid me?" Kai raised an eyebrow.
" No-you're just smarter than him." Tony told her.
" That's not a bad point. I'll let you guys know if we find anything." Kai told them before walking after Clint.
