The now of group of three continued on their journey to find horcruxes, the sword of Gryffindor and basilisk venom. They set up camp on the top of rocky cliff. Hermione cried the entire day, so Kai privately suggested that she wear the locket for awhile. When Harry saw her with it on he just sighed and walked away starting on the enchantments.

When he got back Kai and Hermione were sitting in the tent listening to the radio. Kai stared at a photo she had found in The Black Manor, it was of her dad and Sirius when they were very little. They weren't here anymore. And Nat and Remus were god only knows where, 100's upon 100's miles away.

Harry walked up to Hermione and offered her his hand. She accepted and they started to dance to the music. Kai watched them and laughed at both of their natural awkwardness and horrible dance moves. To say the feeling of jealousy didn't start to creep into her mind due to the locket would be a lie. But she shut it down immediately. It was Harry and Hermione, her best friend and her boyfriend. She refused to let a magic fucking locket be her downfall.

Then Harry parted from Hermione and offered her his hand. Kai smiled and took it. He pulled her close to him and they swayed, different from the rapid twirls and twist he did with Hermione. Kai placed her forehead to rest on his shoulder and closed her eyes. She took in scent feeling the need to memorize it. Harry placed a kiss on the side of her head and whispered sweet nothings into her ear. He could feel her smile against him and he brought her closer to him.

Kai looked up and saw Hermione had went outside. Harry had started talking to her about something but her full attention seemed to fall on his lips. She didn't even notice when he stopped talking and his lips fell silent, just slightly parted. However she did notice them forming into a smirk and quickly looked up at his eyes.

"You distracted love?" Harry teased.
"Mmhmm." Kai hummed.
"You want a kiss?" Harry asked.
"I want more than a kiss babe. It's been way too long." Kai hinted.
"Don't remind me. I promise once we have a true moment alone, I will deliver." Harry's hand came up to cup her face and his thumb ran across her bottom lip.
"Promise?" Kai asked smirking.
"Oh trust me, I promise." Harry nodded.
"Seal it with a kiss?" Kai cocked her eyebrow.

Harry smiled and brought her into a long kiss. Kai sighed in contentment and wrapped her arms around his neck.

The next day Hermione sat outside reading while Harry and Kai laid in their shared bed. Since Kai had volunteered to wear the locket for the next few days, Harry had decided not to let her out of his sight. He couldn't let the locket feed on her past horrors and risk her leaving him. So there they were Kai resting her head on his chest and staring off into the distance thinking of everyone she had left behind, hoping they were all okay.

The golden snitch buzzed above their heads and Harry stared at that as he ran on hand up and down Kai's back under her shirt. Harry reached up and grabbed the snitch and carefully placing it onto his lips. When he pulled away his eyes widen.
"Lovey, get up, look at this. Hermione!" Harry sat up.
Kai also sat up and watched him stand, before she could ask what was wrong he was grabbing her wrist and pulling her out of the tent.
"Hermione! You were right, snitches do have flesh memory but I didn't catch the first snitch with my hand. I almost swallowed it." Harry called to Hermione as they approached her.

They sat down across from her and Harry handed her the snitch.
"I open at the close." Hermione read.
"Yeah, what do you think that means?" Harry asked.
"I found something as well. At first I thought it was an eye but now I don't think it is. It isn't a rune. And it isn't anywhere in Spellmans syllabary. Somebody inked it in. It isn't apart of the book. Somebody drew it." Hermione showed them the book.
"Luna's dad was wearing that at Bill and Fleur's wedding." Harry said.
"I've seen this before. It was drawn on the back of picture I found in Sirius's room. I think if I remember correctly it was a picture of him and your dad, Harry." Kai added.

"Why would someone draw this in a children's book?" Hermione asked.
"I've actually been thinking. I think it's time we go to Godric's Hallow. You know it's where I was born. It's where my parents died." Harry said.
"That's exactly where he'll expect you to go. Because it means something to you." Hermione sighed and stood.
"But it means something to him too, Hermione. You-know-who almost died there. I mean is f that exactly the type of place he'd likely to hide a horcrux?" Harry asked.
"Maybe not the actual horcrux, but valuable information and clues? I'd bet on it." Kai said.

"It's dangerous and likely a trap. But even I have to admit, recently I've been thinking we'll have to go there. I think something else is hidden there." Hermione told them.
"What?" Harry asked.
"The sword. If Dumbledore wanted you to find it but didn't want it to fall into the hands of the ministry what better place to hide it then the birth place of Godric Gryffindor." Hermione explained.
"Are you sure you want to go there Harry? Cause I can just go and search for it and I'll come back with it." Kai offered.
"No, we are not separating. And I can handle it I promise." Harry assured her.
Kai just nodded and gave him a soft peck on the lips.
