           "So Cedric gets to go to fashion week, in Paris with a bunch of beautiful models, and I get to be in Germany, in a dingy airport. I've had a lot of unfair shit in my life happen to me, this has got to be the worst." Kai followed Stark and Peter of the jet.
            "You're not exciting? We are literally hanging out with all the Avengers." Peter said excitedly.
             "Trust me kid, I've lived with all of them. They ain't that great." Kai told him.
             "Stay here, wait for my signal." Tony told them before his face mask dropped and he flew off.

  Kai watched as Tony, Rhodey, and T'Challa cornered Steve. Then Nat joined.
             "Alright, I've run out of patience, underoos." Tony called.
   Peter joined on to the helicopter and webbed Steve's shield away from him and webbed his wrist together.
            "Nice job kid." Tony said
            "Thanks. I could have stuck the landing a little better it's just the new suit-it's nothing Mr. Stark it's perfect. Thank you." Peter rambled.
            "You talk way too much." Kai walked out from her hiding place.
             "You've been busy." Steve looked at Tony.
             "And you've been a complete idiot. Dragging in Clint, rescuing Wanda from a place she doesn't even want to leave, a safe place. I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart." Tony shouted at him.

"You did that when you signed." Steve told him.
"Alright we're done. You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us, now, because it's us, or a squad of J-SOC guys with no compunction about being impolite. Come on." Tony pleaded.
Steve just raised his arms and an arrow shot his webbed hands free.
"Alright Lang." Steve said.
Suddenly a man grew from the shield and kicked Peter away.
"Woah-that's pretty cool." Kai nodded.
The fighting started and Nat looked at Kai. She just folded her arms across her chest and sat on the ground criss cross.

"Fine." Nat huffed and she started fighting the new guy.
Kai watched the fighting and watched "her side" get completely destroyed by the others. Steve and the others started running towards the quinn jet until Vision stopped them.
"Captain Rogers. I know what you think you are doing is right. But for the collective good-you must surrender now." Vision told him.
Kai stood up as Team IronMan all joined together. She looked at Steve, and caught his eye. They stared at each other and Kai steadied the look in his eye. She would get in so much trouble, but she could never betray him. As silently and stealthily as she could she snuck off behind a truck.

She watched as her family, divided ran towards each other and started fighting. It made her want to throw up. The only family sees ever known, was being torn apart in front of her. There was no saving them, but maybe she could help save Bucky.

Kai ran off towards the quinn jet and waited in the hanger. She heard footsteps joining her and couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face.
"We really are just two peas in a pod aren't we?" Kai asked.
"We can't go back home after this ya know." Nat told her.
"When have you and I ever really had a home?" Kai joked.
"Good point." Nat nodded.
They saw Steve and Bucky running towards them. Then a building almost collapsed on them but Wanda held it up for just enough time to let them through.

"You're not gonna stop." Nat said.
"You know I can't." Steve told her.
"Hope we don't regret this." Kai said as both her and Nat put up their arms.
They started shooting their electric bullets at T'Challa.
"Go hurry." Kai told them.
Steve gave them a look. A true look of love, a different kind of love for each of them, but live none the less. They kept shooting T'Challa slowing him down as Steve and Bucky got in the jet and flew off.

"I'd said I'd help you find him, not catch him. There's a difference." Nat told T'Challa.
"I don't have time for this." T'Challa left them.
Nat and Kai looked at one another.
"Time to go?" Kai asked.
Nat walked over to her and connected their foreheads together.
"Time to go." Nat repeated.
"I don't wanna." Kai told her.
"Me neither. But we have too, you know we do." Nat hugged her.

Kai packed her things. Just the stuff she needed to survive while Nat visited Rhodey in the hospital.
"So you're a fugitive now?" Cedric asked.
"Yes. It was a matter of time before it happened." Kai shrugged.
              "Where are you going?" Cedric asked.
              "I don't know, and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to tell you." Kai told him coldly.
              "Don't do that." Cedric told her.
              "Do what?" Kai asked tossing her duffel bag over her shoulder.

               "Act like a bitch to me so you going away will be easier. Your the greatest friend I've ever had. And I'm going to miss you." Cedric grabbed her shoulders and turned her to face him.
               "Stark likes you, he's gonna take really good care of you. You're gonna be okay." Kai tired convincing herself.
               "Don't worry about me, I'll be alright. You just need to worry about yourself." Cedric nodded.
               "I'm leaving Leia with you, okay. And don't let anyone see if I receive any letters. If I get a letter trash it immediately." Kai instructed.
               "Okay, got it." Cedric said.

               "Okay, okay." Kai nodded.
Cedric pulled her into him and wrapped his arms around her. Kai dropped her bag and wrapped her arms around him, squeezing him tightly. Cedric kissed the top of her head.
               "I love you, Kai." Cedric told her.
               "I love you too, Ced." Kai said.
The pulled away and Kai wiped under her eyes. She picked back up her bag and looked at Cedric one last time. Then she walked past him out of the door.
