Kai sat in Clint and Laura's living room in Iowa watching Nat give her testimony in front of the American court. She smiled as Nat walked out.
" Some role model you got there." Laura said walking into the living room.
" Yeah. I'm sorry did the TV wake you?" Kai asked noticing the time.
" No of course not. My kids woke me up." Laura told her.

" There's fresh coffee in the kitchen." Kai told her.
" You are an angel." Laura sighed.
" Hm good morning." Clint said walking into the living room as well.
" Morning." Kai said.
" Look Clint our favorite child made us coffee." Laura said walking back into the living room with two cups.

" Of course she did. I practically raised her." Clint said.
" Don't let Nat hear you say that." Kai said.
" Yeah well who taught you all the badass stuff you know now?" Clint asked.
" How about one of the two spy agencies I worked for." Kai rebutted.
" You're no longer my favorite." Clint said taking a sip of coffee.

Kai chuckled as they heard little footsteps running quickly into the living room.
" Kai! Kai! There was an owl at Lila's window and it had a letter with your name on it." Cooper told her out if breath.
" It was your pretty bird Kai." Lila told her.
" Leia? This is from Hermione then." Kai said taking the letter.

See she had wrote a letter to Hermione vaguely explaining that she would be able to care for Leia for a while since she was going on a mission. Then she sent the letter and Leia to Hermione.

Kai opened the letter and read it. Then read it again just to make sure she had indeed read it quickly.
" What's wrong Kai?" Laura asked.
" It's Harry. Something happened to him, it doesn't say. But I have to meet them at this address tomorrow." Kai said keeping her eyes on the letter.
" For how long?" Clint asked.
" It says the rest of the summer. Something really bad must have happened. I-I need to pack-I gotta get a plane ticket, I have to tell Nat bye-" Kai rambled as she started pacing back and forth.

" Hey, it's okay. I'll get your ticket, you start packing." Laura placed her hands on Kai's shoulders.
" I'll call Nat, and I bet she'll be her within the next four hours." Clint told her.
" Thank you." Kai hugged Laura for a moment then moved to Clint and hugged him.
Clint patted her back comfortingly.
" Kids help Kai get backed alright." Clint told them.
They nodded and started towards the guest room where Nat and Kai frequently obtained.

Kai finished packing and Laura got her a plane ticket for tomorrow morning to London. Now Kai was sitting in the kitchen staring out the window with a glass of water in front of her. She heard the door opened and immediately knew it was Nat from her walking pattern. Kai stood up and turned just as Nat walked into the kitchen.

Nat walked towards her and hugged her.
" Is Harry okay?" Nat asked.
" I don't know. I'll find out tomorrow, I just hate leaving you so early." Kai told her hugging back.
" I know, but your friends need you. I'll see you at Christmas right?" Nat said.
" Yeah, no way I'm missing a Christmas in Iowa." Kai nodded.
" Do you want me to go with you tomorrow? Just for the day to make sure you get settled?" Nat asked.

" No, no I'll be fine. Besides no one will be able to concentrate on telling me on what happened while the famous Black Widow is there." Kai teased.
Nat chuckled and nodded as she pulled back a little from her.
" You did good kid. I'm seriously impressed with you. You saved millions of people, and Sam, twice." Nat told her.

" Nat you know I wanna be just like you right?" Kai said.
" I know. But you should know by now that I'm not the best person to be like." Nat told her.
" The truth is a matter of circumstance. You saved me from the Red Room. You gave me one thing I never thought I'd have, love. That's an amazing person to look up too." Kai told her.
Nat smiled and pulled her back in.
" I'm going to miss you soo much my детеныш." Nat told her.

" I'm going to miss you too Natty." Kai said hugging her back tightly.

The next day Nat, Clint and Kai stood in the airport right before Kai went through security.
" Okay, well I'll see you two at Christmas. I left Leia at the house so you can send me letters, if I need y'all I'll send Harry's owl." Kai told them.
" Okay. Be safe okay. I love you." Nat said.
" I will, you too. And I love you too. And you Clint I love you too." Kai said.
" I know, I love you too kid. See you at Christmas." Clint told her.
Kai nodded and turned around to walked off.
Then she stopped and turned around.

" Please no taking down any more major intelligence companies while I'm gone okay?" Kai said.
" Can't promise anything, but I'll try." Nat told her.
Kai couldn't help but smile.
" What a Romonoff thing to say." Kai joked before turning around and fully walking away.

After a long 8 hour flight Kai touched down in the London airport that late afternoon. She grabbed her bags and started making her way out of the airport. She looked down at the letter from Hermione. The address just said Grimmauld place. Guess she'll just tell the cab driver that and see what happens.

" Are you just going to walk right past me without at least saying hello?" A familiar voice asked her.
Kai looked up and a smile spilt across her face.
" What a sight for sore eyes. Remus!" Kai said and she put her bags down and hugged.
" Good to see you again Kai." Remus chuckled as he hugged her back.

Authors Note: this was most definitely a filler chapter and it's very short I know. But the first chapter of Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix starts next chapter and I think I'll post that one right after this one goes out so watch out for that. Okay love you all <33
