Kai walked into the Hospital Wing the next morning. Cedric was awake and reading the daily prophet.
" Wow, you've never looked hotter." Kai told him.
Cedric looked up and smiled. He had a white bandage wrapped around his head, his arm was in a sling and he paired with a dashing cut above his eyebrow.
" I know right. I should have been going for the rugged handsome look this whole time." Cedric nodded.

Kai laughed and sat in a chair next to his bed.
" How are you feeling?" Kai asked.
" Grateful to be alive. I really thought I was done for." Cedric told her.
" With me around? No way." Kai shook her head.
" Really Kai, thank you. For everything you've done for me. Although I have to ask for one more favor." Cedric said.
" Good you're needy." Kai teased.
Cedric chuckled.

" Could you let Mr. Stark know I'll be in New York in two weeks." Cedric told her.
" You're still going? Your parents are going to let you?" Kai asked.
" Yeah I convinced them to let me go." Cedric nodded.
" How the hell did you pull that off?" Kai asked.
" I kinda told them that you were going to be there the whole time. And since you saved my life and everything, they said I could go." Cedric told her.

" You lied to you're parents? That's not very Hufflepuff of you." Kai teased.
" Yeah and who knows the houses better than you." Cedric teased right back.
" Touché. So I guess I'll see ya around." Kai said standing.
" Yeah see you around Kai." Cedric smiled.
Kai smiled at him before walking out of the Hospital Wing and outside.

She found her friends standing together. She walked up to them.
" Hey, where'd you go?" Harry asked wrapping his arm around her waist.
" I went to check on Cedric." Kai told him.
" That was nice if you. How is he?" Harry asked.
" Still breathing." Kai told him.

" Very good observation Kai." Ron chuckled.
" So can you finally tell us why you've been buddy buddy with Diggory this year?" Hermione asked.
" Oh sure. That day on the train he asked me if I'd help him get an internship at Stark Industries. He didn't want anyone to know until he knew for sure that he got it." Kai explained.

" Well did he get?" Ron asked.
" He did. He starts in two weeks." Kai nodded.
" So you to be will be seeing a lot of each other this summer." Harry said.
" No not really. Me and Nat are based in Washington DC." Kai told them.
" This feels weird. That we're not going to be seeing each other everyday. I mean I know we go through this every summer but it's time it feels different." Hermione said.

" It is different this time." Harry nodded.
" Do you think it will ever be the same again?" Hermione asked.
Kai looked Harry then at Hermione.
" No." Kai said.

" Kai! Harry!" A French voice called.
They turned around and Fleur walked towards them.
" We are about to leave. But I wanted to zay goodbye before we do." Fleur told them.
" Goodbye Fleur. It was nice getting to know you." Harry told her.
" Yeah, but I feeling will be seeing each other again. So how about see you later, instead of goodbye." Kai said.

Fleur smiled and pulled her into a hug. Kai let out an oof sound but hugged back non the less.
" Zee you later my friend." Fleur said.
" See ya later friend." Kai said as they pulled away from one another.
Fleur waved at the others before walking off.
" I really like her." Kai said.
" I honestly hope I never see her again." Ron said.

" Why?" Kai asked.
" Um because I screamed at her to go the Yule Ball with me." Ron reminded.
" I know I just wanted to hear you say it out loud." Kai laughed.
" Viktor told me to tell you goodbye as well Kai." Hermione told her.
" Awe that was sweet. So are you two going to continue to talk?" Kai asked.

Hermione quickly glanced at Ron, but it went unnoticed by him.
" I don't think so. If we do it will be strictly friendly." Hermione told her.
" Whatever you say Mione. Hey Ron, tell you're parents thank you for letting Nat and Steve crash at the Burrow." Kai said.
" Oh it's no problem. Mum loves hosting guest." Ron told her.

" Well shall we start heading for the train?" Harry asked.
" Yes please. Get me the hell out of here." Kai nodded.
They all chuckled at her and started walking off towards the train.

The group walked off of the train and Kai immediately found Nat and Steve standing with the Weasley's. Kai smiled and they made their way towards them.
" Oh there they are." Molly smiled.
" Kai I have to hand it to you. This place is pretty cool." Nat told her.
" Yeah I can see why you come back every year." Steve nodded.

Kai looked at Harry. She had been seriously thinking about not returning next year. But after everything that happened in the maze, she was worried that if she wasn't there something fatal could have occurred.

" Yeah. And I'll be next year as well." Kai nodded.
" Atta girl." Fred ruffled her hair.
" Hey Fred do you value your hand? If you do then never do that again." Kai looked up at him.
" I'm going to miss you threatening my life everyday." Fred said crushing her in a hug.
Kai groaned in annoyance into his chest.
" I loath this." Kai said her voice muffled.

Harry smiled fondly at her and Fred. He let go of her and Kai pushed herself away from him.
" Please get me out of here before anymore redheads bear hug me." Kai told Steve.
He chuckled and nodded.
" Bye Kai." Ron said giving her a quick hug.
" See ya Ron." Kai smiled.
" Bye." Hermione hugged her tightly.
" I'll see you real soon. Write to me every day yeah." Kai hugged back.

" Of course." Hermione nodded before pulling away.
" George, Ginny see on the flip flop." Kai said as they grouped hugged.
" See you next year Kai." Ginny said.
" Stay safe secret agent." George told her.
" I'll try." Kai joked as they pulled away.

Finally the couple looked at one another. Harry held out his arms and Kai walked into them. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.
" I'm going to miss you so much." Kai told him.
" I'm going to miss you too love." Harry said.
They pulled away a tad to be nose to nose. Kai looked to the side and saw everyone watching them. Harry looked to the side as well and smirked. Kai quickly gave him a peck, not even letting him respond before pulling away.

" Good bye all." Kai waved.
They all waved back and then Steve, Nat and Kai walked through the barrier back into the Muggle world.
