Kai, Hermione and Ginny were all getting ready in Hermione and Ginny's dorm. Kai looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was placed in a messy bun and she had long snake earrings dangling from her ears. Her shoes were white and had straps that wrapped up to the middle of her shin. The best part of her dress was that it had pockets.

" Wow we look hot gals." Ginny said.
" Yeah we do look good as fuck." Kai agreed.
" Hm yeah." Hermione nodded nervously.
" You two ready?" Ginny asked.
" Yeah for sure." Kai said.
" I-I don't know. You two should just go-I'm sure Viktor will understand right?" Hermione asked.

" Mione. Listen to me, you are fine as hell. You need to strut downstairs and show yourself off and let Viktor adore you." Kai told her.
" Yeah come on, a literal celebrity asked you to be their date. Have some confidence." Ginny encouraged.
" Okay-okay you're right. Let's go." Hermione nodded.
" Hell yeah." Kai linked their arms then did the same with Ginny on the other side.

They walked out of the dorm and all the way towards the great hall. Down the stairs was everyone waiting to walk in, including their dates. Giving Hermione an encouraging nod they made their way down the stairs. Harry and Ron looked up and spotted them.

Harry immediately smiled and his face turned red at the sight of his gorgeous girlfriend. He walked towards the stairs and waited for her. Kai unlinked her arms from Ginny and Hermione and took Harry's extended hand.

" You look absolutely stunning." Harry told her.
" You don't look to bad yourself Potter. You clean up nice." Kai told him.
" Thank you love." Harry smiled.
" Oh my good god-what is Ron wearing?" Kai asked.
Harry just laughed instead of responding.

" Oh good you two are here. I need you two to line up for the first dance." McGonagal walked up to them.
" They uh what?" Kai asked.
" Surely I told you two that the champions have the first waltz of the night." McGonagal said.
" No you did not tell us that." Harry told her.
" Oh well-uh now you know. Get lined up please." McGonagal pushed them into the back of the line.

" Hermione!" Kai whispered shouted.
" What?" Hermione turned around.
" Did you know about this?" Kai asked.
" Yes." Hermione nodded.
" Diggory?" Kai asked.
" Yeah I knew." Cedric nodded.
" And nobody told us?" Kai asked.

The doors opened and the champions started walking in.
" Kai I have to tell you something." Harry whispered.
" What's up?" Kai asked.
" I don't know how to waltz." Harry told her.
" We had a whole lesson on it." Kai said.
" I know, I kinda of blew that off." Harry admitted.

" Harry James Potter if you embarrass me in front all of this people. I swear to wizard god-"
Kai started.
The music started and the couples started dancing. Harry started to fumble around.
" Let me lead." Kai scolded him quietly.
" I'm the guy." Harry said.
Kai looked gave him stern look.
" Yes ma'am." Harry nodded.

They switched their positions and continued to waltz. Only when it came to the lift Kai was leading them. Thankfully other couples started joining them.
" Ginny came with Neville?" Harry asked.
" Yeah he asked her after he asked Hermione and she turned him down, because she's with Viktor." Kai told him.
" Neville likes Hermione?" Harry asked.
" That's what Seamus told me." Kai nodded.

Lee walked up to them obviously irritated.
" Did you know George asked Angelina to be his date?" Lee asked.
" I thought Fred was going to ask her." Kai said as her Harry stopped dancing.
" He was suppose to. But then said it didn't feel right without any explanation. So George asked her. Now me and Fred are left without dates." Lee ranted.
" I'm sorry Lee." Kai patted his shoulder.

" Did the kiss mean nothing? I'm I just imagining things?" Lee asked.
" No of course not. I think you just need George a little time to sort out his feelings." Kai told him.
" I just wish he would just tell me what he was feeling." Lee sighed.
" He's a guy." Kai said.
" Yeah that's true." Lee nodded.

" What's that suppose to mean?" Harry asked.
Kai and Lee looked at each other with the same look.
" Enjoy the rest of the night guys." Lee said.
" You too." Kai said.
He walked away from the couple.
" You just know all the gossip don't you?" Harry teased.
" It's literally my job to know about other peoples business." Kai told him.
" Hm fair enough." Harry pulled her back into him.

Kai was jumping around to wizard rock music with the Weasley's, the champions and their dates. Kai was spinning Fleur around in circles while holding Fred's hand and swinging their arms. Harry went to see how Ron was holding up.

As the song ended and another started Hermione came close to her.
" I want to check on the boys. Come with me?" Hermione asked.
" For sure." Kai nodded letting go of Fred's and Fleur's hands.
" Where are you going?" Fred asked.
" With Mione." Kai told him before walking off with Hermione and Viktor.

The girls went one way while Viktor went the other. The girls approached Harry and Ron.
" Hot isn't it? Viktor's just gone to get some drinks. Care to join us?" Hermione asked.
" No we would not like to join you and Viktor." Ron told her.
" What's got you're wand in a knot?" Hermione asked.
" He's a Drumgstrang. You're fraternizing with the enemy." Ron told her.

" The enemy? Who was it wanting his autograph. Besides the point of the tournament is international magic cooperation. To make friends." Hermione told him.
" Yeah well I think he's got more than friendship on his mind." Ron said.
Hermione huffed and stood up. She went to walk away but turned back. She opened her mouth to stay something but then closed it and walked away again.

" You're an asshole. Harry I'll be over there if you'd like to join us." Kai told them before walking to wear Hermione and Viktor were.

As the night came to a close Harry and Kai danced one last slow dance.
" You're so pretty." Harry told her.
" Thank you." Kai blushed.
" You know, I try to learn to something new about you everyday." Harry said.
" Really? What did you learn today?" Kai asked.
" You only blush when I compliment you on you're appearance." Harry observed.

" Yeah well, being attractive has never been something I've worked on. I'm not use to receiving those kind of compliments." Kai explained.
" Interesting." Harry nodded.
" I learn something new about you today as well." Kai told him.
" Really what's that?" Harry asked.
" That you look fine as hell in formal wear." Kai looked him up and down.

Harry chuckled.
" Want to know what I realized about my self today?" Harry asked.
" Uh sure. Is that you think that I look fine as hell in formal wear?" Kai asked.
" No, I had no doubt that you would. What I realized was that-I-I love you." Harry told her.
Kai stopped dancing.
" You-I-you what?" Kai asked.

" I, Harry James Potter am completely head over heels in love with you, Kai Romanoff." Harry told her.
Kai's heart melted and she smiled. She grabbed his neck and pulled him into a kiss. He placed his hands on her waist and kissed back.
" I love you too." Kai pulled back.
" Oh thank Merlin." Harry smiled and pulled her back in.

" You know he's just using you." Ron's voice was heard from not too far away.
" How dare you! Besides, I can take care of myself!" Hermione shouted.
" Doubt it. He's way to old for you." Ron said.
" Too old? Is that what you think?" Hermione asked.
" Yeah that's what I think." Ron nodded.
" Well then you know the solution don't you?" Hermione asked.

" Go on." Ron said.
" Next time there's a ball pluck up the courage to ask me yourself before someone else does! And not as a last resort." Hermione yelled.
" Well that's-that's completely besides the point." Ron told her.
At this point Harry and Kai had walked up to them.
" Hey what's going on?" Harry asked.

" Nothing, off to bed both of you!" Hermione told them.
" They get scarier as they get older." Ron said as him and Harry started walking off.
" Ron! You spoil everything!" Hermione shouted as they walked away.
Kai hugged Hermione and they sunk down to the floor. Kai cradled Hermione's head as she cried into Kai's shoulder.

" Shh hey it's alright. Everything's going to be okay. Don't let that asshat ruin your night Mione." Kai told her.
Hermione just sobbed in her best friends arms. Kai just kept cradling her knowing that it was best just for Hermione to get all of it out.
" It's alright. It's going to alright." Kai tried soothing her.
