Ron, Hermione and Kai watched as Harry downed the luck potion.
" Well how do you feel?" Hermione asked.
" Excellent." Harry smiled as he stood.
The others also stood.
" Remember Slughorn eats early then takes a walk, then goes back to his office." Hermione reminded him.
" Right. I think I'm going to go down to Hagrid's." Harry walked past them.
" What? No you have to go talk to Slughorn." Kai told him.

" Love I know what I'm doing. Or Felix does." Harry gave her a wink before leaving.
Ron and Hermione looked at her.
" What?" Kai asked.
" So are you and Harry, ya know back to together?" Ron asked.
" Not officially no." Kai told them.
" But you two did make up?" Hermione asked.
" Yes we did." Kai nodded.
" Oh thank god." Hermione hugged her tightly.
" It's been absolute torture these last few months. Harry's been so pitiful and I can't believe I'm saying this but I really missed you." Ron told her.

" I missed you too Weasley. I missed you all. And I'm just so glad things are back to normal, well almost." Kai said as her and Hermione pulled away.
" Yeah, imagine if you had moved on and started dating someone else." Hermione laughed.
" Yeah, that would have been really awkward. It's getting kinda late though, and Snape threatened to turn me into a toad if I was out after curfew again." Kai started making her way out.
" See you tomorrow." Hermione waved.
" See ya." Kai smiled before fully leaving.

Kai sat criss cross applesauce on her bed and in front of her sat Blaise.
" Okay I need to talk to you about something." She started.
" Oh no are you breaking up with me?" Blaise teased.
Kai grimaced at him.
" Oh shit really?" Blaise asked.
" Me and Harry made up, we are going to try and work things out." Kai told him.
" Oh Kai, I'm so happy for you." Blaise hugged her.
" Thanks." Kai hugged back.

" This kinda works out perfectly actually." Blaise said.
" Oh?" Kai pulled away.
" I saw Ginny last night. I dunno where she was coming from but I started talking to her and we were flirting and I-kissed her." Blaise blushed.
" Oh my god, Blaise! That's so great." Kai smiled.
" Yeah, it was a good kiss too, like so good." Blaise nodded.
" Okay spare me the details zucchini." Kai teased.
Blaise chuckled.

" I'm so happy for us. We did it, we got them. And we didn't have to sacrifice months of sex." Blaise smirked.
Kai slapped his arm and laughed.
" So I guess this is the end of our love affair." Kai said.
Blaise cupped her face and kissed her deeply.
" Oh my dear Kai, there will never be a true end to us." Blaise pulled away.
Kai smiled and pulled him into a hug.

Kai sat in Dumbledore's office watching as Harry and Dumbledore watched Slughorn's memory. Why Dumbledore had called her into his office for this, she couldn't figure out. Harry pulled his head up and looked at Dumbledore.
" Sir." Harry said
" This is beyond anything I can imagine." Dumbledore shook his head and sat down.
" You mean to say he succeeded, in creating a horcrux?" Harry asked.
Horcrux. Kai knew that word. Her father had written about trying to destroy one, he died trying to destroy it.

" Yes, and I think it's multiple." Dumbledore told him.
" What are they exactly?" Harry asked.
" Could be anything, common everyday objects. A ring, a book." Dumbledore walked to his desk and pulled out the said objects.
" Tom Riddles diary." Harry said.
" Is a horcrux yes. Four years ago when you saved Ginny Weasley's life and brought me this, I knew it was some kind of dark and powerful magic. Until tonight I didn't know how powerful." Dumbledore explained.
" And the ring?" Harry asked.
" Belonged to Voldemorts mother. Very hard to find, even harder to destroy." Dumbledore showed him his black hand.

" So if one were to find all of them and destroy them-" Harry started.
" One could destroy Voldemort." Dumbledore finished.
" But how do we find them? They must be hidden extremely well." Harry said.
" True but Magic especially dark magic has a way of leaving traces." Dumbledore explained.
Kai sighed.
" I know where one is." Kai told them.
They looked at her.
" It's the locket of Salazar Slytherin." She continued.

" I know where one is as well, maybe it's the same, maybe not. But we have to leave soon. Get prepared we will meet in the Astronomy Tower after dinner." Dumbledore told them.
" Yes sir." Harry nodded.
He walked towards Kai who was still still sitting and offered her his hand. Kai accepted and they walked out of the office hand in hand.

Once they were a good distance Kai opened her mouth to say something.
" I'm nervous about this one." Kai told him honestly.
" What do you mean?" Harry asked.
" I have a horrible feeling about this. It's same feeling I got before we went to the Ministry." Kai told him.
" Then maybe you should sit this one out and I'll just go with Dumbledore." Harry suggested.
" Over my dead body. I'm not concerned for my own safety, I know I'll be fine. It's-it's something else, I just can't quite put my finger on it." Kai shook her head.
" Do you feel like something bad will happen to me?" Harry asked.
" Now that one is really over my dead body. There's more of a chance of me dying then you. That's why I have to go with you." Kai told him.

" Love, listen." Harry let go of her hand and placed his hands on her shoulders.
They stopped in the middle of the empty corridor.
" Everything is going to be fine. We are going to find this thing and destroy it. Then we'll find the others and Voldemort will be gone forever." Harry told her.
" I think you're under thinking this." Kai told him.
" I think you are overthinking this." Harry said back.
" It's my job." She told him.
" I know, and it's adorable." Harry lent down a tad and kissed her head.

He then wrapped his arms around, bringing her into a tight hug. Kai wrapped her arms around him.
" I love you." He whispered in his ear.
" I love you too." Kai nodded.
