The days go by and as Monday comes I spend most of the day in the office. Having to work is so much more frustrating and tiring now that I'm kept apart from Louis. It's so frustrating to sit there watching the hours tick by, just praying for time to go faster. But I have to work. Now that Louis stays home most of the days, I have to help out. Thank god for technology though. No matter how far we are from each other we can still communicate. I keep texting him, telling him how bored I am, and he tries to cheer me up. No, not in the 'I miss you' type of way, more like 'Haha you have to work while I'm at home chilling' teasing sort of way.

Time passes and eventually the clock strikes five and my shift is over. I wake up from my exhausted trance and I grab my stuff and leave. As I make my way down to the car I receive a text from Louis.

*Care for a game of football? I'm with the lads at the park. Come join us princess. - L*

I smile to myself and sigh. I'm wearing a tux, and he wants me to come down to the park and play football with him and the boys? I don't even play sports. I'm bad at football to begin with. It has never really been my thing. Oh well, I can at least watch? I mean, I'd hate to come home to an empty apartment.

"Look who decided to join!" Zayn exclaims as soon as I get out of our car, wearing my white shimmy and fancy trousers. I took the coat of and I'm undoing my tie as I'm walking across the field over to them. My fancy shoes get all dirty as I step on the grass field to make my way down.

"It's a football game, not ballroom dancing mate" Liam teases and I just sigh. I'm too tired for this right now.

"I know, I know. I just came from work... I'm only here to watch." I sigh. Louis walks up to me, being his beautiful confident self, wearing his Adidas jumper and black sweatpants. He pushes his way through the guys and wraps his arm around me.

"You can be the referee, love." Louis suggests and I smile at him. It's pitch black outside, and bit chilly but it's alright, cause he's right here in front of me. Healthy, smiley and happy. That's all that matters. Seeing him this full of energy, running around, makes me forget the fact that he's sick. What if he's improving? What if he's not actually getting worse, but better? What if he stops smoking entirely and lets his lungs work as they should? What if? What if...

The ball flies back and forth for what feels like ages. Many laughs are shared and shouts exchanged when I judge the game poorly. Louis and Niall are one team, and Zayn and Liam are the other. So as soon as I tell them to take a penalty of whatever all hell brakes lose. They are so defensive about a silly game. They get so upset about some things that I actually find it hilarious. I burst out laughing as soon as they take it too far.

"Hey pass the ball, will ya!?" Louis shouts to Niall as he runs with all of his energy to the other side of the field. Niall just keeps going with the ball is being kicked around playfully. Liam and Zayn suck as defenders, they wouldn't be able to get the ball if their lives depended on it. Even though Zayn and Liam have NO chance in winning, Louis still aims for a high score so he does all in his power to score another goal. "Over here! I said over here blondie!"

He shouts at Niall breathlessly. Niall finally hears him and passes the ball. A big smile grows on Louis' face as he gets the ball and runs to the goal as fast as possible. The boys all run after him and I follow them so I can make sure no one is breaking any rules. Suddenly Louis stumbles and falls on the grass. I immediately blow the whistle to stop the game. Liam puts his hands up in the air as a way to defend himself.

"No one tackled him, I swear!" Liam defends. I suddenly notice that Zayn is on his knees in front of Louis and that his face is pale with worry. What the hell is going on? Liam, Niall and I make our way to Zayn and Louis. Zayn turns to us with puppy eyes.

"Guys, he can't breathe. We have to take him to the hospital"
