Your POV

"It's gonna be alright now." I whispered, reassuring him.

The moment I scanned the card and the shackles opened, I felt everything.

Every single emotion and every single memory rushed through me like adrenaline.
Every kiss.
Every breath.
Every heartbeat
The first time we met. The first time I felt something towards him. The first time we kissed. The first time we loved. The first time I realised I loved him.

Jason looked stunned at what we had just accomplished.
His chest heaved and he struggled to sit up.
Josh rushed over to support him, whilst Matt, Jake and Alara stood by the door, making sure no one was coming.

"Can you stand?" Josh asked hopefully.

Jason shook his head. "I don't know." His body shook against the support of his friend. If sitting upright was a struggle, I dreaded the actual escape. He eventually managed to swing his legs over the side of his bed and he heaved himself to his feet, Josh held him upright to stop his legs from collapsing beneath his weight.
Jason seemed to have lost a lot of weight, just proving how weak his body was.

When Jason finally steadied himself, I wrapped my arms around him.
The feeling I had craved for so long.
Tears of joy slid down my cheeks and neck.
He winced and I pulled back quickly.
"I missed you so much." The words barely came out.

Jason's eyes welled up and he traced the path of my tears with the pad of this thumb.
He opened his mouth as if he was about to say something, but he couldn't find the words.

I pressed my lips onto his and wrapped my arms around his neck, because of the state his body was in, he couldn't touch me the way he wanted to, but this was enough.

"I love you, Y/n." He mumbled in between kisses.

"I love you too."

-------------------

The escape wasn't half as hard as I expected it to be. The only trouble was getting Jason through the hospital quick enough without been seen by any doctors or CIA agents that were working on a night shift.
When we finally got outside, it was pitch black and pouring it down with icy rain.

Jason stumbled as we walked to the car and I held his arm in a death grip to keep him from falling.

His nose and cheeks were pinched a light shade of pink from the cold and his breath came out in crystallised puffs.
His knees buckled once again just before we made it to the car, I tightened my grip on his arm, determined not to let him fall.

"I'm okay." He flashed a reassuring smile.

"No you're not."

"I'm okay as long as you're with me."

Josh, Matt, Jake and Alara were walking further in front of us, and Josh turned to look over his shoulder.
"Um, I don't mean to ruin the moment but you two are gonna have to hurry up before someone realises we're gone." He called through the pouring rain.

Jason rolled his sleepy eyes. "I'm moving as fast as I can." He croaked.

As we trudged through the unpleasant weather, Jason's eyelids fluttered and his body shook.
Weakened from all the torture, I wasn't sure if he was going to make it to the car.

"Do you need to sit down for a second?" I asked.

Jason shook his head. "No, I don't want to slow you down."
